I can’t say enough good things about this eye doctor and the staff. Everyone is fantastic and they have been for years. I tell everyone I know to come here if they need an eye doc! I have debilitating anxiety and everyone makes me feel so welcomed and at ease. Jessica was INCREDIBLE and she made the process of picking and choosing glasses an amazing experience. It was so much fun trying on glasses with her, it felt like my own lil fashion show. I ended up with 2 pairs, one from Longchamp and one from ILLA and I am so in love with them.

Special Needs Friendly

My son has pretty significant special needs and wears glasses. We have been to several different places to purchase glasses over the years and by far 5 Points Eye Associates has provided the most accommodating, helpful, and friendly experience we have had. They went above and beyond to help our son feel comfortable and get what he needed. I highly recommend them to anyone.

We were in downtown Jax overnight for medical appointments at the UF Proton Therapy building and the nose piece fell off the glasses (not comfortable!). I called on a Friday morning and they welcomed us into their beautiful, conveniently located building and quickly repaired the glasses for us. What a blessing! We are so grateful. Such a nice, welcoming local practice/ business in this busy, national chain oriented world.

Brought my family of 3 for our yearly eye visit. Our first time coming was last year. We absolutely love and adore Dr. Potochick and his staff. All of them are very nice and kind. They all are very good at their individual jobs. They went out of their way to make my 9 year old comfortable during her exam. They made it fun and put her at ease as she was very nervous. Our second visit was just as nice as our first.

I highly recommend this Dr and office staff. They were extremely understanding of my anxiety and were very accommodating to make me as comfortable as possible. The doctor talked me through each process of the exam, and there was minimal wait time for scheduling, appointment, and glasses. I can't remember the last time my vision was so clear, and I LOVE my glasses.

Great care! Great price! I had a bum lens prescription from my out-of-town ophthalmologist - was referred to Dr. Potochick by Davalt Optical. I got an appointment three days after I called. The office staff and Dr. Potochick were efficient and delightful. And when I got the bill I had to ask, “are you sure that’s all?” I’ll still visit my ophthalmologist for eye health issues, but I’m coming back to Five Points Eye Associates for my lens prescription.
