I absolutely love this optical store. There so many frames to choose from in store. In addition, they have such a variety of glasses for every budget for adults and children. Amanda the owner is personable and makes you feel welcome with snacks and treats and there’s a play area for lil ones too. I highly recommend visiting Into the Looking Glasses for your next eye exam or new glasses.

I highly this business to anyone who needs to get a new pair of glasses but I ESPECIALLY recommend this place to anyone who has children with special needs. My special needs 3 1/2 year old was in need of bifocals and finding someone who took our insurance and had glasses for toddlers was a nightmare! Until I stumbled upon this amazing business. The owner Amanda has the cutest little spot with a lovely children’s area and a HUGE selection of toddler and kid glasses. She was an absolute sweetheart to me and my son and was very thorough and helpful through the whole experience. My son didn’t make it easy either, he was a handful to say the least but she handled him with such understanding and care. The experience was amazing that I was willing to drive the hour it takes to get to her in Fleming island! I rate this business 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️

Waited 9 months to get new glasses with my updated script. The wait was so brutal. Mandy was kind enough to set aside a purple pair that I just had to have a couple months ago & I've been eager to get my hands on them ever since. ?
Stop in and fall in love with your next pair of glasses. With her wide selection, I guarantee you will find a pair you cannot live without

I found the perfect pair of eyeglasses locally, but the place didn’t take insurance and the frames were out of my price range. Found the same exact frames at Into the Looking Glasses for less than half the price after insurance and Amanda was a pleasure to work with! So excited with my new glasses! Thank you!!

I LOVE this place. As a parent to a toddler who needed glasses I had no idea where to start. I went to an optical shop on Blanding where I felt out of my depth, needing to hold my baby, dig through racks of mixed sizes, with glasses straps getting caught on the rack so I had to put my baby down, who tried to run out the door into the parking lot and knocked over a bunch of business cards. I had to hold him and force frames onto his face, which he immediately tried to take off — it was overwhelming to say the least. Then I found Into the Looking Glasses. Wow. It is set up for kids, with toys and a sensory gym. I could play with my child while the knowledgeable staff brought me a hand-picked selection of frames and refreshments. I could make sure my child was entertained enough to sneak frames on him, and take play breaks as needed. Amanda walked me through the process and all the options while also providing feedback on fit. We ordered our glasses and left happy and excited. We got our glasses a week later and had ongoing conversations to find a strap that fit his head at no extra charge. We’ve now purchased our second pair and had a great experience again with Vanessa this time. I don’t think we’ll be going anywhere else for our glasses!

Our son has a lot of extra energy and so curious about new places, they were beyond patient with him, making our experience less stressful for us. We were able to find him multiple pairs of glasses at a very reasonable price, along with them fixing his broke glasses. Our son says his glasses landed on the ground hard but stayed in tact. This speaks volume on the quality of there glasses. Thank you for going over and beyond to ensure our son got what works best for him...

I'm so excited! There is finally a place that accommodates both children and adults. Into the Looking Glasses is autism certified and has a sensory room. Lots of selections! Amanda has many years of optical experience which includes working with military, veterans, elderly, special needs children and adults.

My son has been wearing glasses since he was 4 years old, this is the first enjoyable experience finding glasses. The environment was welcoming to all kids of any age or ability. The staff were warm and welcoming and played with my son while I filled out paperwork. I didn’t have to worry about keeping a constant eye on him and chase him around. He didn’t feel like he was in a museum where he could look but not touch. They even have a sensory room for those overactive kiddos to play.
