Went to Big City Optical for the first time today and it was such a great experience! Everyone was so nice and welcoming, especially Sean who was helping me pick frames. Even though I was the last appointment I was encouraged to take my time picking out something I liked. Will def recommend this location to others.

The staff was great to work with, but they don't warn you that any order you place with them cannot be returned. I looked online after my app and found the same contacts for much less, so I called to cancel the order, but they refused. I talked to my insurance, and they said that I should be able to, so they called them and were told about this small print bullshit, so they essentially are doing this to put a hold on whatever frame/contact benefit you have and can't make any changes after. This also wasn't like days after, I called them 30 minutes after I left the appointment.

I'm going elsewhere in the future, and I would hope that anyone reading this would do the same.

Amazing customer service! The Doctor was efficient and answered all of my questions. The ladies that helped me pick out my glasses were phenomenal. They were not afraid to tell me what looked good and what didn’t. I probably tried on 40 different glasses but the ladies made it so much fun! I now have a pair of glasses that are so different from my old pair but I have already received so many complements!! I would recommend this office to anyone and everyone!! Thank you so much!!

I usually dread any type of health appointments, but my experience at Big City Optical was so smooth and quick! I have been going to the Lakeview location of BCO for nearly 5 years now. My last visit is what makes me write this post ....

I am in search of new glasses as I recently had an eye exam at Jesse Brown VA optical. Ania, greeted me upon entering and was extremely helpful in my search of new frames. She made me feel comfortable during the process which for me, I've been wearing glasses for 30+ years and entering a storefront and searching for frames is sometimes a hassle. After chatting with Ania and trying on frames I found out that she is the new store manager at this location. She has a passion for helping those of us wearing optics to feel comfortable in

1: the process, but

2: in the way we look in the frame and of the curves the frame may give complimenting our face. Ania helped aid in my confidence trying something different than the norm I've always done.

To sum this up, I just wanted to say thank you for making my experience that day go the best it possibly could have!!
