Don't expect to use your insurance here without nastiness and additional fees that aren't discussed or authorized beforehand. Apparently a contacts exam doesn't cover the part where you put the new contacts in your own eyes... and that is an additional $80. And don't even try to just get your prescription without buying contacts/glasses from them on the spot. Their attitudes change very fast if they don't get to make that extra profit.

Sabina is a very thoughtful, helpful, and professional optician who successfully guided me in picking out beautiful frames and choosing the best options for my new progressive lenses. I was a little overwhelmed during my first visit but she didn't rush me and kindly assisted me in placing my order when I was ready to decide. The best experience I’ve had in awhile. The women were so warm and took such great care of me. The exam was extremely thorough and their questions were specific and knowledge backed. They helped me pick out a great frame and a lens to relieve the strain on my eyes. We all laughed and joked the whole time. It was an extremely relaxing and refreshing experience. HIGHLY recommend.

He got everything wrong even suggesting I was nearly ready for bifocals when I see close up just fine. The prescription he gave me was too strong, confirmed by the lovely optometrist at Costco in Roseville last week. He wanted to order my lenses at a cost of more than $500, no frames just lenses. If you have to wait for an appointment it should be worth it. Don’t waste your time/money here.

The staff was nice and Dr was nice, but my prescription was so inaccurate that I feel dizzy when I put the glasses on. He would ask me what looked clearer and several times he would go back to the opposite one of what I said was clearer, which I believe is why this prescription does not work for my eyes. Nice people and nice doctor, just not worth going to if you want an accurate prescription for glasses:/

It's difficult to find an experienced, high quality optometry office that accepts my employer's EyeMed optometry Insurance; now I've found that with Eye to Eye optometry. Not only does Eye to Eye accept my insurance, they also have a first in class assortment of eye glasses and the most high tech exam machines I've encountered. My experience was personal and professional.

I was specifically looking for Matisse eyewear, which according to the NY based company, is only carried by 2 offices in Northern California. This small town Grass Valley office has a huge assortment of eyewear options ranging from designer and popular sport options like Ray Ban and Oakley to bargain options. The selection and fitting service was stellar.

Dr. Tom educated me on my dry eye issues and provided sample products (That's a first! I have visited multiple optometrists for this issue over the years.). Not only did he provide a comprehensive vision exam, but he also used state of the art equipment to determine whether I had various eye diseases that run in my family.
