They refused to refill a long-term prescription medicine without an appointment, which they promptly canceled the morning of. This most recent issue was the last straw for me, I ended up using an online service to fill the prescription and switched physicians.

The staff at this office (including some of the doctors I have seen over the past 8 years) are generally disorganized, combative, and unprofessional. Even the small things you wouldn't normally think about, like the scale they use to weigh you, are dysfunctional at this office.

The city commission should make it a point to hold Advent Health to a higher standard with how centrally located this office is.

I made an appointment as a new patient OVER A WEEK in advance to see a nurse here. One day before my appointment, I got a call and was told the nurse was not in the office because she was sick. I asked who else could see me and they said no one was available until 5 more days. I was extremely sick, had no insurance, and needed to see someone there, but they just referred me to urgent care. That's so messed up to call at the last minute and say that no one is available. I feel like there should've at least been a "backup" provider to see me. Never doing business with this practice again.

I have recently moved back to the area and have been looking for a new Primary Care doctor. I requested an appointment online as a new patient and waited for a phone call. I received this phone call at 6:41AM the next day to tell me they were not accepting new patients, the office doesn’t even open until 8am! I was asleep in bed and awoken by a phone call that I immediately ignored because it was an unknown number and again, 6:41AM!!! The person who left the message barely sounded awake themselves. Definitely feels like I dodged a bullet here since it seems likely that the office staff has no compassion/care for the patient.

LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE PERSON THERE IS VERY RUDE AND DON'T DESERVE A JOB TBH. They don't show any regard for you as a human and very dismissive. From the receptionists to the Doctors. This is true for ALL of them it's pretty disgusting. You get more human empathy in a psychiatric Baker Act hold than at this place! It's pretty dismicable that these people have jobs. I couldn't be that nasty, rude, disrespectful or dismissive when I WORKED AT MCDONALD'S making minimum wage in 2019. It just makes no sense whatsoever. All Around (and this is coming from someone that gives four stars for average quality experiences ALL THE TIME)

TLDR;This is hands down the worst experience I have ever had.

I made an appointment in May with a doctor, they gave one in July. Come July they tell me I didn’t have an appointment EVEN though They sent me an email letting me know to check in. So they push me until End of August. On the day I go there to get told there is no appointment for me. I told them you already had this problem last time and it happened again. Nothing they can do. So I get postponed all the way to November.

This is 7…7 months just to make an appointment. It’s genuinely crazy

I've been with Dr. Dauer since before he moved to Florida Hospital Winter Garden. He was great but is now retired and the staff at their new locatiom is terrible. I've had so many issues with them since their move. I called to set up appointment for blood work. Front desk said I didn't need an appointment for that and when I showed up the nurse gave me attitude because I didn't have an appointment. I called to set up an appointment because I was sick and someone working the front desk offered to send a prescription in without seeing me. Then someone else called me back essentially scolding and explaining they don't write prescriptions without seeing the patient. I had to defend myself and explain that I didn't ask for that, their front desk did. Shannon Delong is great. I see her the most and she does a great job and is very nice. I've just had enough with the staff. I think I'll be looking somewhere else for primary care.

Very organized. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly & kind. Dr. Kelly is a compassionate doctor who takes her time to address your needs. Even when you may not know what your needs may be. Thank you Dr. Kelly, I haven't felt this good in many years!

Well first off they answer after hours!!!, which is amazing!! secondly, they didn't just hang up on me like another doctor's office I won't name.. so that's a plus..that earns them five stars right there,, at least three. They said it's cool that I don't have insurance and they accept self pay and willing to set up an appointment and see me after I don't know how many doctors office I've called and as soon as I said I don't have insurance to hang up on me thank you so much guys I hope this works out and I get the help I need
