I’m absolutely loving my new progressives! The owner of RiKa Optique, Rita is amazing at what she does. This is my 4th pair of glasses from her, but first pair of progressives. I was nervous about progressives, thinking they would be hard to adjust to. They’re perfect and exactly what I needed. Every pair of glasses are custom, down to the fitting, style and specific quality of lens. Rita walks you through the whole process, taking her time to explain it all. I was visiting my mom (I’m on the East Coast) when she said she wanted new glasses. She told me she wanted them from Rika so we drove over. While she was getting fitted I found a pair of frames that blew me away. I just had to have them. While there we arranged for my prescription to by faxed from my ophthalmologist. Some measurements later, Rita told me about Zeiss lenses. Normally I go for least expensive polymer but for once in my life I decided to splurge.
I was nervous about being 3000 miles away when the glasses finally arrived. But a few weeks later they did.
After making some adjustments with the frames my life changed. These glasses are the best I’ve ever had! Zeiss lenses are no joke. Everything is super clear, sharp, and vivid.
I’m so happy with my decision, my new glasses, Rika Optique, and most of all, Rita who is a consummate professional dedicated to her clients.

Rita rocks! The most important ingredient once you receive your prescription for glasses and sunglasses will be your visit to RiKa and Rita. She knows exactly how to measure to get it right for you to see perfectly. Rita goes over every detail and there are many when it comes to this investment-your eyes and how you look with those glasses on!

I needed progressives, I had heard all the horror stories. Rita nailed the first pair, with that I had the confidence in her not only in how I could see but also the frames and how I looked! So, I now have 2 pair for my daily regular vision and 2 pair of sunglasses that are hot! Every pair perfect. No horror story here. On a daily basis I get at least 3 compliments on my eyewear attire:-) Makes for one happy girl! with progressives!

This was huge for me when it was time, both for the investment and jumping that hurdle of fear that I would see perfectly. I so look forward to deciding each day which I shall wear to see.

I had such a wonderful experience with RiKa that I have to share. My 86 year old Mom took a spill and bent the frames of her glasses. Although the glasses were purchased elsewhere Rita generously repaired them at no charge making them once again useable. Her kind gesture and concern for my Mom’s well being speaks volumes. I love my new glasses! And Rita really went the extra mile for me. First, Kaiser screwed up my prescription, and even though it wasn't her fault, she covered the remake on the lens. Then the lab lost the frames, and she covered that too. Amazing! It's hard to find that kind of customer service these days. If you live in the area, I'd highly recommend Rika Optique. And if you don't live near by, hey, come up to Sonoma for some wine tasting and get your new glasses too.

Just dropped in without an appointment and asked about having my Purcell sunglasses adjusted, assuming I would leave them and pick them up later. They were immediately adjusted at no charge. My wife loves the store and their choice of frames and when I need new sunglasses I will be buying them at RiKa.
