So this experience is already starting off on a sour note. My mother is supposed to be admitted there for physical therapy but, I am seriously considering and looking for other options already. It takes forever to get someone to answer the phone and when they do they are not very knowledgeable about anything. How do you work for a facility and know know who the administrative staff is. If this is any indication of how the care will be I know my mother doesn't need to be there.

This place is a dump. They haven't updated the facility since they built it many many years ago. When you walk into it you go back in time. All accommodations are run down and dilapidated. It's dark there. No natural light. Very depressing . This is not a place to put someone you love. The only thing they have going for themselves is the staff. They try to do their best with the resources they have. They are short staffed and underpaid. I think this place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt but I doubt that will happen.

I just signed my grandmother out of there ama after her being there for only one night. They dismiss their patients by just telling them 'ok ill be right back' over and over again, all while the nurses are leaned against the counter. My grandmother (or anyones loved one) sat in disgust for way to long for people to be leaning.

This place feels like home. I have lived in Fort Valley most of my life and I've heard some good things about this place and some not so great things.But I recently visited a family member here and I was actually impressed. The staff was courteous, the facility was clean, and it just felt like home. If you are considering this place for your family, get a feel for yourself!

My mother-in-law is being cared for at Fort Valley Health and Rehab. She has been here for a few weeks and we have had a positive experience so far. When we visited her on her birthday which is on the 4th of July everyone welcomed us to celebrate with her in the cafeteria. She appears to be well taken cared for and the facility is clean. The only suggestion I have is the wait to get inside needs to be improved. If they would install a speaker and camera and have a way to open the door without walking to the front would be a great solution, in my opinion. Thanks to the staff for your dedicated service!

I have worked in healthcare for over 30 years and I have been in a lot of facilities and this is one of the best facilities that I have ever been into. I was very impressed with your staff everybody was so gracious and kind. You should be very proud of your staff everyone always look for a bright and shiny building but a building doesn't make a good facility it's the people so thank you very much for the love and care and respect and dignity that you gave to my father.

I was sent here to help with a project. The staff are friendly. The food is great!!. Carolyn Jones in the kitchen is always so helpful at lunch time. The fried fish is so good it melted in my mouth!. The residents are just so sweet!!. The Administrator was very professional and courteous. She handled my situation with alot of care and concern.
Kudos to the whole team!!.
