I'm a little confused after reading the good reviews, because I was not impressed by Dr. Smith. My first and only time going to an eye doctor was to his office, so I had no idea what to expect or what the appointment would be like. I tried to understand what he was telling me about my vision by asking questions and he almost seemed annoyed by my questions. Overall he just did not seem very friendly, and didn't answer my questions well. I have a co-worker who took her 3 year old there as well and she had the same opinion of him. Neither of us will be going back to this office because we did not feel well cared for there.

I was on a road trip from Wisconsin to Florida and I was having irritation in one eye that was making it very difficult to keep it open. As we stopped in the area for the night, I gave Crossroads Family Eyecare a call the next morning and they were able to see me that morning yet. Dr. Smith took a quick look in my eyes and knew what was going on. I was given some eyedrops and the next day my eye was feeling better than it had in days and I ultimately was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation. Dr. Smith and his staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

I feel like this is a hidden gem in our small community. My husband had an eye emergency and needed to be seen quickly. He was able to be seen the day I called and his issue taken care of. I also made myself an appt for an exam at a later date and could not be more satisfied with my experience. All front office staff and Dr. Smith were kind, courteous, and professional. I’m so glad to have found this gem of a place!

I called with an eye emergency and even though I wasn’t a current patient, I was called back within 15 minutes given a few instructions to try before an appointment in the morning! I was fit in when no one else took me seriously and even gave me the opportunity to meet me tonight for care! I will be a forever patient here! 10/10!

Had my first visit today with Dr. Smith and his staff. Everyone was friendly and easy to get along with. Very easy going, but professional. I'm glad I found an eye doctor that I actually like and seems to know exactly what he's doing!

Great office! Dr.Smith is very helpful and knowledgeable. Great with kids as well. We never have to wait long, and get his undivided attention. Their office also gives back to the community and school system.

I can't say enough about the, service, kindness, and thoughtfulness of the staff here. Help me out of an optical bind. They did not think they would be able to help me at first. I had already left the offices when they figured out a solution to help me through my emergency and they came out an found me. Old school service with hearts as big as their smiles. This is one of the many things I miss about small southern towns. Thank you guys so much.
