Outstanding staff. Always smiling and saying “hello”. Never met such a staff where ALL are so friendly. Their morning breakfast is outstanding. The dining room and the villas are immaculately clean and well done. It all takes you back to a time gone by.

Absolutely beautiful. Loved it. Breakfast wAs great. I have food allergy and staff knew based on my room number. They're willing to work with you on food. Waffles were awesome. Room was clean. Bathtub was clean and shower curtain was clean. No mildew. Bed was nice and comfy. Had gas fireplace with remote and central heat. Had little refrigerator and Keurig and ice bucket. 2 soft house coats. Staff was so great. They were glad to see you. Alisa was awesome. She took some pics for me of my husband and I outside to remember our trip. You can walk to rock City and star bucks. Plenty of antique stores in Chattanooga to go to. Lots of great restaurants near by too. Grounds are beautiful. I love the rocks on the inn. Rooms were spacious for 2. Just a very nice place for adult getaway. Would go again. They also have swimming pool. The toiletries also smelled great.

I stayed in room 11, it was beautiful. The outside patio is where I spent my time. I find lookout mountain Rock City to be magical and this bed and breakfast is just wonderful. There's coffee, a very nice breakfast, and light snacks in the afternoon. They have a fire pit that was a lot of fun to sit around with other people. I highly recommend this place. When I get back to Chattanooga, I will stay here again, it's nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is a very nice bed and breakfast. We had room one and had no road noise. The room was good size, the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent location across the street from Rock City. The staff was nice but it felt more like a hotel than a B&B where you have an innkeeper. Room 1 allowed a lot of secondary light into the room at night because the drapes didn't cover over the blinds. The breakfast was okay: we are late risers and by then most the food was gone: no granola, no yogurt and limited fresh fruit and pastries. The eggs were runny. The evening snack was wonderful: fresh cookies. Also they had very limited tea bags (no black tea, mint) and it just wasn't on par to other B&B we stayed in. I would still recommend though just be aware that it isn't as exceptional.

Me and my husband had a impromptu date as we were traveling and randomly decided to stop in Tennessee. We stayed here and everything was amazing! The room was small, but that's not a bad thing. We were use to hotels so we were not expecting it but we absolutely loved it! The breakfast Belgian waffles were amazing!

If you're visiting Rock City, Ruby Falls or nearby attractions in the Chattanooga area, it's hard to beat the location of this small B&B on lookout mountain. The staff is friendly and I enjoyed that the breakfast was more of a private come and go affair than the traditional bed and breakfast routine.

The rooms are smaller than I expected and - at least with ours - there is no views to speak of. The food is on par with most hotel level breakfasts. My biggest issue was the ice cold showers we had the two nights we stayed. I hope they get the water heaters repaired for the next lodgers!

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights during our recent tour of Tennessee and Georgia. It feels quite ‘French’ and homely. The rooms are very comfortable, luckily we had a King bed. Our room (3) had a fridge, coffee maker, shower and steam shower (but we didn’t use the steam). The a/c was efficient. We enjoyed using the pool. Location right across from Rock City is convenient. We thought breakfast was excellent, afternoon snacks a nice touch and the evening fire pit was good to sit round when we had returned from dinner. Room service was limited, but we certainly didn’t mind. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations (1885 was our favourite). Front of house staff Olivia and Abigail were always helpful, smiling and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay at Chanticleer, the perfect end to our trip.

The best b&b in the mountains! We stayed for a few nights in room 10. As others have said, the room is smaller, but the bathroom makes up for the difference. There is a separate shower and 2-person whirlpool tub in the bath. We spent full days hiking/adventuring, so the room size wasn’t the biggest deal to us- but the soaking tub after a day of hiking was great! Very nice smelling bath salts too! The only downside with the room was no fridge or microwave- so no place for leftovers.||The inn is conveniently located across the street from Rock City- you can walk to that attraction. Breakfast is AMAZING. Something for everyone and you will be full. The robes are comfy and wick the wet away. The bocce court is fun entertainment after a day out exploring. They have a pool, but we didn’t use it. They also have a nice outdoor fire pit where you can enjoy a glass of wine with other guests. We will absolutely stay here again during our next trip to the mountains.
