My close friend who was a resident passed here and it would not have happened had the severity of how sick she was been taken seriously to begin with. The ER ignored and pushed her to the side the night before. Instead yall waited til last minute when she coded and yes I have reported this entire thing to the HFRD.

My daughter was placed here for a year and it was thee worst experience she had ever endured. My daughter is a quadriplegic, and we had to involve law enforcement for patient neglect. A CNA was withholding food from my daughter because the CNA was too lazy to feed her.

Another incident involved a different CNA who was being physically rough with my daughter during baths and while changing her underpants. This particular CNA was reported to her superiors for not utilizing the correct care that was requested by my daughter. When the CNA was approached by my wife about the multiple incidents to be discussed, the CNA and a nurse became loud and argumentative.

However, there were a few shining stars here though that deserved to be mention by name. Candace, Tiffany, and Lauren. They are a credit to their profession. I wish them well because they were very kind, compassionate, and professional to my daughter.

IF I COULD GO LOWER ON THE STARS I WOULD! DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! I KNEW FROM THE TIME MY SISTER WAS SENT HERE THAT SHE MAY NOT COME OUT, AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. EVERY TIME WE WENT WITHOUT CALLING FIRST THE PLACE WAS ALWAYS A MESS! THEY WOULD TRY AND HOLD US AT THE SIGN IN DESK JUST SO THEY COULD CLEAN HER AND THE ROOM BEFORE WE WALKED IN. WE HAVE CAUGHT THAT MULTIPLE TIMES. WITHIN 2 weeks of her here she got a bed sore so bad! THE STAFF HAD NO REGARDS TOWARDS NO ONES LIFE. THERE WAS EVEN A TIME WERE MY BROTHER HAD TO STEP IN AN UNKNOWN PERSONS ROOM AND SUCTION HIS MOUTH CAUSE HE WAS LITERALLY CHOKING ON HIS SPIT. ALARM WAS GOING OFF FOR SO LONG. After cleaning his mouth he took the biggest breath ever! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE ESPECIALLY IF THEY CANT DO FOR THEMSELVES. THEY WILL DIE! IF U READ NOTHING ELSE I SAT REMEMBER COMING HERE, THEY WILL FOR SURE DIE!!

My mother was on a ventilator in Florida. She was having anxiety when they were trying to ween her off of it. Otherwise she was healthy!! On thursday she was transported to this so called vent facility and just to start the staff must be incompetent or uncaring. Nobody was contacted when she arrived!!!
My sister called in the morning and spoke to a woman for half an hour. The next morning being Saturday my aunt calls and they show no real concern. Then my sister who lives 5 hours from the place calls and they tell her she's not on the list of verified calls and when she gets that clear they say mother might not make it through the night!!
Awful my mother passed not 48 hours after getting to that facility. If you have a loved one transported there be sure to be with them as much as possible as the staff isn't trying to save anyone or even let families know when there's trouble!!!!
I will never let another member of my family go there we will find a BETTER FACILITY WITH A CARING COMPETENT STAFF!!!

My sister had been down a long road with places that did not do good for her. I had to fight to get her out of place she was in and brought her home unfortunately they released her and she went into septic shock and went to a local hospital which I loved but she need to go to a specialty hospital/ maybe a nursing home I found out from a good friend about miller I thank God for these people who are the best caring people

It was about the worse experience I had with my sibling at Miller nursing home. The incompetence in the staff was overwhelming. The staff had a lack of communication with each other which made my sibling suffer more then needed. It also took 45 plus minutes to see my sibling the first time I arrived. What was that about? Lots of excuses. Bad results. I would not send anyone I know to this facility!

I would like to appreciate the staff at Miller County hospital and Ventilator unit. When Our father arrived from St. Francis CCU he had a bedsore on his sacral area, The wound care staff took excellent care of it and it healed completely.
The nursing staff, and nurse aids showed compassion and seem to be concerned. The charge nurses was very helpful and answer questions when we called and the nurse was not available. I don't want to try to name of the staff because I might not remember them all. The respiratory staff was excellent and very knowledge. when she came into the room she introduced herself, explained what she was doing, how often he was being suctioned, trach care, etc. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because of one of the worker. She was very cold and unfriendly when asked questions I. But the rest of the staff out shined her. Miller County Staff keep up the good work We need more staff like you in all facilities.
