If you have UnitedHealthcare/Spectera - just know that your “selection list” of contacts to choose from your insurance won’t be covered here (even though if you order contacts from this list, they and the fitting should be fully covered). You will have to pay for the contact fitting as well as the portion of the lenses themselves above your allowance (in my case, $150 out of pocket for things that should be covered), even though United/Spectera says this provider is in network. The Dr, staff, and facility were all great. But all this confusion every single time someone gets anything done is ridiculous. Maybe it should become standard practice for practitioners to go over all costs before the appointment. Not to do everything and find out that Target doesn’t order contacts from UnitedHealthcare directly so they’re not fully covered. This is 100% mainly on the insurance company being misleading but at some point offices need to start being more transparent as well.

My whole visit was seamless and very pleasant. Mike was extremely polite, helpful, and professional. While I chose to purchase my contacts elsewhere, his pleasant demeanor remained the same as he was completely understanding and did not in any way try to pressure me into buying through them, as has been my experience at other places. Additionally, Dr. Haywood was friendly and patient, listening to things I had to say, and taking the time to explain procedures and various outcomes with me. This was my first time here and I would be happy to try them again in the future.

I was impressed with Dr. Ashley and the young lady (sorry, do remember her name) that assisted me. Very attentive and friendly staff. I enjoyed the digital retinal imaging verses having my eyes dilated, and viewing the health of my eyes. The only disappointment was they did not have the contact lenses I wanted to try and had to order them. Overall this was a great experience.
