So there's a lot of amazing reviews for this place. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just not that great. Got a gyro wrap which the gyro meat was very average (like the prepacked mass produced gyro) and the tahini was overpowering but not in a aromatic way you would hope. So it's very heavy and unbalanced. However the chicken kabob plate was very good and the chicken was beautifully flavored and the sides were flavorful and complementary. So yeah it's got potential for sure if you get the grilled entrees and avoid the more likely precooked items.

Service was fine. The restaurant is smaller than what you probably expect. More of a quick service/take out place than a high end sit down restaurant as some of the pictures might suggest.

Came back while we were in town. Today we only ordered a chicken shawarma pita and a gyro shwarma pita and two iced teas. We were very happy we came back when we were in town. See you next time. They had sumac on the shelf and I need some for kafta at home, so I was very happy to take some home.

Came to town for a long weekend. We always bring our own food and cook and go out once on a road trip. We always look for Middle Eastern Restaurants, and Yucca Kabob did not disappoint. We ordered baba ghanoush, kafta plate and a gyro shawarma plate. The kafta was slightly tougher than I think it should have been, but it wasn’t dry and was extremely flavorful. We enjoyed the gyro and baba ghanoush a lot. The hummus that came with it was very smooth. We would come back and make the same order next time we are in town.

I have been coming to eat here since they first opened several years ago. The food has always been good, as has the service. This place is a gem in this little desert town.

We went on a weekend trip from San Diego to Joshua National Park. Ended up going to Yucca Kabob for a meal after a long hike. The kibbeh and hummus were amazing! Plus the lime mint drink is fantastic. We didn’t expect having such good middle eastern in a small town. The service was top notch and food was fresh and delicious. Also recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich!
Will definitely go back when we visit Joshua again!

Oh my god best dishes, specially the Shawarma chicken with garlic was the best thing i have ever eat. A must try restaurant and ask for Tony the best chef there ?

Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur ce merveilleux restaurant du Moyen-Orient et quelle belle surprise ! Étant d'origine libanaise, j'étais très curieux de le tester et je n'ai absolument pas été déçu. La nourriture est fraîche, bonne et juteuse, une vraie sensation de fraîcheur à chaque bouchée. Nous avons opté pour le menu à 114$ pour quatre, qui comprenait du riz divinement bon, du hummus superbement frais, ainsi que des brochettes de viande et de poulet parfaitement juteuses et bien cuites. Le prix est très raisonnable étant donné la qualité des plats. Les serveurs sont à l'écoute et très souriants. Je recommande fortement ce restaurant pour une expérience culinaire authentique et savoureuse !

Visited this place after spending the day at Joshua Tree National Park. It was super crowded when we went and 7 of us had to share a 4 seat booth.

The food also took really long to arrive after we placed the order. The food was amazing though. We ordered falafel wraps, vegetarian platter, fries, side of rice and lemon lentil soup. All the food was well cooked and their sauces were flavorful.

They were short on staff it seems. Only two people were running the show with around 35 customers. The place is nice and has its own parking. The ambience is lovely and lively.

Will surely try again when we are in that area.
