This place is absolutely terrible. I end up in tears every single month just trying to connect with the doctor for my appointment. I am newly pregnant and I’ve called every single day this week to confirm my very urgent appointment. My appointment was at 4:10…The doctor called me at 2:20 when I was at work, I have since called back 8 times beginning at 3:35 without any answer. This is very very unprofessional and causing the patients unnecessary stress. This place is terrible. Stay away.

Thank you for responding to my review however, it’s very unprofessional and inappropriate to respond on a public platform meanwhile I have still not been taken care of. I still have not been called back for my urgent appointment that I confirmed multiple times with your office. I still have an extremely urgent concern regarding my medication and my pregnancy that I have made your office well aware of on multiple occasions.

My family member contacted their insurance to make an appointment with a physician ( not a nurse practitioner) in person. A list of available in person availability psychiatrist were given to her. She was given Compass Health as an option. She called and spoke to Asia; was given an appointment for a August 28, 2024 . She received multiple text messages to confirm and remind. Then was cancelled the day prior due to my family member " being scheduled for an in person visit but they only offer Zoom on Wednesday. "My family member called them and they rescheduled for Wednesday September 4, 2024; she again verified that it be in person and it was verified that it would be.

Knowing that my family member is in desperate need of this appointment I called to ask why the initial appointment was even made, knowing that the request for in person visit was imperative. They stated that the "NURSE PRACTITIONER was not in that day." Nurse practitioner?

After getting my family member on the phone to verify I was allowed to speak to someone about her APPOINTMENT; I asked why was an appointment made for a day that would not allow for in person visit AND with a nurse practitioner when it was very clear on initial call that an IN PERSON visit WITH a DOCTOR was requested. The answer was " I'm not sure".

The appointment that was made for September 4, 2024 was made with a nurse practitioner and not a doctor...I was told on that call that "the doctor only sees in person patients on Thursdays". So I asked why was the second appointment made, again..with no doctor? Answer was " I'm not sure". I reiterated the very first request of 1. In person and 2. with a doctor, NOT a nurse practitioner. Appointment made for September 5, 2024 at 2pm. Multiple text messages were again sent out as a reminder of the time and date.

Today is September 4, 2024 and my family member received a call just before 5pm from a Casey stating on voicemail that Dr. Stein would not be in this week and they had to reschedule for next Thursday. (Today is Wednesday...why the call less than 24hrs prior) I am now on hold with Compass health for 20 minutes ( I called at 4:55pm; google states they close at 5;30pm)..I have yet to speak to any human being.

This family member is in great need of this appointment that should have been conducted a week ago, and now needs to wait another week ( thats two weeks). How are we guaranteed this game of make an appointment and cancel is not going to play out again next week? Many doctor offices have a cancellation policy, why is the reverse respectfully not provided to the patient?

Both patient and myself have to schedule ahead to make the time for this visit; what do others do if they have to take the time off of work?

Overall, this is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable and unprofessional. I expect this service at a run down five and dime, not a professional medical practice.

I now see the single star reviews...going way back to three years ago...until today. Obviously management has taken absolutely no steps to improve.

I had my first appointment this morning. I wasn’t charged, my prescription wasn’t sent to the pharmacy. Don’t come here. They will leave you dry without your medication. I wish I would have checked the reviews before depending on this place. Considering the types of health issues they are “helping” people with, people are going to die because of their negligence. I will be reporting them to my insurance company and whoever else will listen. Absolutely unacceptable.

Two stars only because it’s telehealth. I have a billing problem where I was charged for two months when I didn’t use their service and the billing department never called me back. 2nd time Compass transferred me to the wrong number. It was never resolved. Then it’s been 5 days since my appointment and no meds so I called Compass and my meds were sent to an old address from a year ago. I’ve been using Compass and Medzdirect for 3 years and they’ve mailed my meds to different addresses 3 times and sent my scripts to various old addresses many times as well. Now Medzdirect’s numbers don’t work. I’ve given up on them and will have to walk the two miles to Walgreens to pick up since I am disabled and can’t drive. Thanks Compass and Medzdirect. Get your act together.

** EDITED: they completely switched systems and it seems a lot of staff turnover too in the last few months, but things have been going much better now as far as communication. Rough start with them and was left without medication once or twice. But now, I get regular callbacks and appointments are scheduled regularly, all staff are extremely kind, resourceful, and knowledgeable including both of my providers as well as the office staff. Whatever changes they made seem to be working.

Very hard to talk to people. Appoinments late about 4 or 5 hours in tele health call. Or never call . to confirm Appoinments have to call from office day before. They forgot to call. If you call for screening wait in the phone for an hour or more, . Ask your number to not loose the place for your call. Never returned the call. The best Siquiatric they have is Dr Stein . Always help me with my son issues. But is to hard to reach Him, doing to the compass system in the phone to reaching and answer phone fir a patients issues

Terrible management. The amount of complaints I heard from the patients was enough to say everything about this workplace. Working only 2 months as the front desk receptionist
was ridiculous. The unprofessionalism the manger is enough to explain why they can’t keep anybody and why the rating is very true about this place. Highly do not recommend anybody to this place. Extremely toxic and unprofessional. Let’s not even discuss the phone calls and how they have people on the line for 2 hours.

New patient, and not once but twice was stood up for my appointment. I reached out 2 hrs before my second appointment to make sure I’d be getting a call because I didn’t last time and she told me the reason is because I didn’t do my screening. THEY are supposed to call you. So I did my screening with her (sweet girl) and told her I will reach out to them personally for now on to do my screening. I reiterated that I am completely out of medication and that I need to be seen. She understood, said they will call at 3. 3:45 comes, I call them, they tell me they usually run an hour behind? Whatever I guess, they already have my copay so I wait. She reaches out to the supervisor to get ahold of the doctor, and tells me the doctor will reach out within another hour. We got off the phone at 4:15 and I was told to call back if I received no call in an hour. Guess who received no call. It’s now 6:08, 3 hrs from my original appointment, I called again and am told they will call me as soon as they can. That won’t happen and I’m sure they know that. I literally told them I don’t even wanna talk at this point I just need my medication. They’re not controlled substances, I’m not seeking medication to abuse. I’m out of medication that helps me function. The girls are sweet but the whole place is just out of control. Not something I wanna be involved with, I’d rather shell out the $200 for my old psych.
I’m a nurse and this is such a dangerous way to be treating your patients. Leaving them without medication that they need, God forbid somebody killed themselves or had a seizure from withdrawals. The reviews are true, I’m shocked anyone has received proper care here. I’m literally begging anyone reading this to please not use compass health. This isn’t normal and you deserve proper treatment for your mental illness.
