Solid local surf shop. Does events and a lot for the community and surf scene. Has an amazing wide range / selection of long boards you will not see anywhere. Has larger surf shops beat by their amazing inventory. Definitely worth going to this shop!

The shop is clean, close to the beach & the board was ready for pick up early & the repair seems to be solid. On the other hand, It’s simply bad business practice to say one price then change to higher price at checkout.
The owner told us he didn’t realize the amount of work needed (which was to rebuild the tail) although when he first saw the board he said the entire tail needed to be rebuilt. It does not instill confidence in doing business with this store because we were lied to. If he didn’t know what he was going to charge then perhaps he should have given us a range and not an exact price as the owner. Due to this I will not be a returning customer.

Been going in Core Surf for over a decade now. Dennis always has what you need for the real core surfer and anyone in between. It’s a surf shop, a museum and a staple to the community. I promise if you can’t find a board in there you won’t find one anywhere else! Over the course of time I’ve been dealing with him I’ve watched his business grow into something more than just a surf shop! Will always continue to support my local surf shop and all around friend! See you in the water D!

Very knowledgeable and friendly , I didn’t know anything about boards , and was helped with no pressure. Gives great advice and tips , def will be going back . Bought my first board with all the set up and went out that day , I don’t care what waves I’m getting that board is fun !! lol Awesome!

Stopped in to get advice on a longboard and ended up talking to Dennis, who was extremely helpful. I’ve been surfing since I was a kid and haven’t updated my longboard in a while. Dennis educated me on all of the new shapes specifically the ones that cater to Florida’s waves. I ended up buying a Starr Surfboard and tried it out on some waist to chest high glassy waves that day. After the surf session I was very satisfied with my decision to buy from core surf shop! I highly recommend them and Will be a regular customer.

Went here the other day just to remind myself why I NEVER shop here. Just go down the road catalyst is better. Better quality, way better staff, cheaper prices. I stopped coming here years ago just a rip off shop, nothings changed. I recommend anyone reading this do not go it’s a way better experience just down the road. ? and no I’m not connected to catalyst in any way, just a local giving out good advice.
