Tried on a neighbor's recommendations...
Didn't disappoint. Abbott's was bright and clean, service from Angel was perfect. Food was very good. Will definitely be back. Seared scallops with vegetable risotto and crab cake with succotash and roasted asparagus. Dessert was key lime pie and strawberry shortcake.

The two of us had dinner here on a week night after shopping at a local furniture store; we live 2+ hours away. The parking lot and party room were full, but the regular dining area only had one table going with some other seniors sharing a birthday dinner.

Our server was friendly. Our meals were nicely made. There was an issue with mine and that was remedied efficiently. My spouse had a lovely dessert.

Stopped in while visiting the area & enjoyed a light lunch. Easy access and plenty of parking. Angel greeted us with a smile, seated us right out back, and took extra-special care of us too! She was so delightful, and we really appreciated her local history suggestions. Your delicious French onion soup and fabulous creme brûlée were so perfect, thank you! We'll visit your new location in Milton too - welcome to our neighborhood! Thanks for a wonderful dining experience in the cute little town of Laurel.

Had dinner here with two friends, celebrating birthdays. The restaurant seemed to have 3 sections; a loud section with karaoke or some local singer, a casual-early bird-large family section, and a white table cloth section, which also overlooks the river.
The food was bland in flavor and uneventful with presentation. For the prices you would expect more, it honestly felt like eating at a clean diner. Even the desserts were off, 3 creme brûlées and none of them had consistency with the others.
One and done for me.

Made reservations for a group to meet at 3:30 for the Thanksgiving buffet. Looked like a vegetarian feast. No beef to be found. Low on turkey and they just added more ham when getting plate. We were seated at two folding tables in the entrance to banquet hall where there was hardly room to breathe and be a gymnastics major would have helped getting in and out from behind table. Sardines would have been an understatement. When it came to dessert, of course they were out of Chocolate Torte. The pies were dry and looked overcooked. I had always had a good experience but this wasn’t worth the $30 each charge. Will search elsewhere for next years Thanksgiving feast.

We celebrated my husband's 63rd birthday at Abbott's this weekend. The event coordinators, Kim & Pam, were helpful and did their best to accommodate us. Our servers for the night, Angel and her side-kick, were extremely attentive to our guests. They were helpful and made sure the party was a success! I also have to say the food was Amazing! We'll be going back again soon!

This was a return visit. We try to make it at least yearly. The food is imaginative and well prepared. Drinks are generous. Staff is attentive and patient. Nice seating along the river any time of year. Small historic town gem.

This is our absolute go to whenever we camp at Trap Pond or paddle near by. We hardly ever pass Laurel, De without stopping! Love the deck on Broad Creek! The bartenders & servers are always amazing we love Angel, Katelyn and any server we have ever had! The food always amazes and the spicy margarita brings the heat especially if Angel makes it. Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully soon.
