I recently brought my stepdaughter to see Dr. Dixon for an eye exam, and unfortunately, the experience was far from ideal. I had some insurance-related questions leading up to the appointment, so I called the office six times to get clarification. Not once did I receive an answer or a callback. It’s incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to get important information and no one is available to help.

When we arrived for the appointment, things didn’t improve. The front desk staff completely ignored us when we walked in, continuing their conversation without even acknowledging our presence. I had to stand there waiting for several minutes before they finally noticed me. It's one thing to chat among yourselves, but when a patient is standing right in front of you, basic courtesy would be to at least say "hello" or "we'll be with you in a moment."

Once I sat down, they continued talking, but this time about some boy the whole time we were there. It was loud, distracting, and completely unprofessional. I don’t need to overhear personal conversations when I’m at a medical office, especially when I’m there with my child.

That said, the medical staff was very kind and professional, which was a relief. The doctor was great with my stepdaughter and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. But the poor service at the front desk really left a bad taste in my mouth. I think the front office staff could use a serious reevaluation when it comes to basic customer service and professionalism.

It's unfortunate, because the care itself seemed solid, but I’m honestly not sure I’d return after this experience.

The staff were very helpful, courteous and patient. Dr. Dixon immediately put my nervous son at ease and explained what he saw from evaluation and offered suggestions for his glasses prescription.

Today I went to the office on an emergency basis to see Dr. Dixon. It was my first visit to this office, which was very clean, professional, and the staff was extra friendly. Dr. Dixon was able to diagnose me and he made me feel comfortable in that he explained what was going on with my eyes which I greatly appreciated. Additionally, I didn’t feel rushed or passed over. I highly recommend Advanced Eyecare Center to anyone who needs an optometrist.

I was experiencing an eye related emergency & Advanced EyeCare got me in at the very end of the work day with very little forewarning & Dr Dixon personally handled my issue with finesse & professionalism. I could have lost my vision in my right eye but thanks to a staff that made my eye health their business & a doctor willing to see me, regardless of normal time constraints, I woke up today with no pain & good vision in my right eye.

The office staff and various assistance gives you a helping hand regardless of the task. Friendly atmosphere and it doesn't take long.
