I went to get my birth control replaced. I waited over a month to get an appointment. When I got there, I filled out the paperwork and had to wait another month for authorization. Well they called me today saying my birth control is 100% covered by my insurance but they don't do "bill and pay". Incase you are unaware what that is like I was, the doctor's office pays and bills your insurance. You mean like how insurance normally worked. This took months to get up to this point and now I'm stuck finding a new OBGYN.

I feel my midwife is insensitive to first time mothers. My nurse tried to use the Doppler to find a heartbeat and granted it may have been too early. But, as a first time mother, when she couldn't find it, I was concerned. The midwife simply said it may be too early and sent me home. Mind you by my cycle I'm 11 weeks and haven't had an official ultrasound with them at all. I've been a patient since I found out at approximately 6 weeks. I asked about an ultrasound and she said she didn't know if my insurance would cover it and if not it'd be 250 dollars. She didn't ask the staff to reach out to them or myself which doctors offices have in the past for wayyyyy simpler things. Very disappointing experience so far. I may switch facilities after my 12-week checkup/ultrasound if nothing is different. If you're a first timer, you may want to search elsewhere.
Good note: nursing staff and front desk staff are very attentive and pleasant. I really like them. And I'm getting an ultrasound covered by my insurance because they cover all ultrasounds ordered. Yay!!!

This Clinic needs more stars. I went for second time and it was great. The doctor, nurses and staff are very professional and polite. The clinic is also very clean. The wait time is not bad at all. I love it!
