Just had my new patient yearly eye exam. I am very pleased with Dr. Herron. She was down to earth and friendly. The office was very organized and everyone was super nice. My previous eye doctor doesn’t accept my insurance anymore so I was little nervous going to a new place, but I am so glad I picked Allied Eye!

Had cataract surgery 5 days ago. Much clearer vision from this right eye. Still notice a darkish semicircle on right periphery - the brighter the light, the stronger it appears.

On follow-up visit 3 days ago, I was told this happens to roughly 8 out of 10 with my procedure (Toric lens). In my opinion, this was omitted from my information prior to the follow-up. The day after, I was concerned about it, but decided to await the visit the next day. I was informed at that visit that all looked perfect and the darkish area at the periphery will fade away over 7-10 days. Clarity of vision in the right eye is vastly improved! Thank you.

I have been to several eye doctors over the past 3-4 decades, but Allied Eye is far superior to the others. When I first went there in 2020 for an eye emergency the staff kept me calm. I remember that Valerie was especially helpful. Dr. Herron saw me several times in one month and didn’t give up until my vision issue was corrected. Jamie, the optical manager, is an absolute sweetheart and greets me every time I visit. The staff is always so friendly and efficient. I recommend Allied Eye to anyone who is looking for an optometrist and/or an ophthalmologist.

The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Matzkin has been my doctor for several years. He performed laser surgery on my eyes last year for glaucoma. I trust him for my care. Also previously, I was having symptoms of MS and had been to several specialists. Dr. Matzkin was the only doctor to find out what the problem was. I was being over-prescribed medications! I am very thankful that he found out what the issue was.
