I take no pleasure in giving bad reviews, however, if it can be helpful to another woman, then great. I will preface by saying that I am a healthy and fit 59yr old female with no health issues to speak of, take zero prescription medications, and have been taking natural supplements since my early 30's. I recently stopped into Alternative and spoke to a kind gentleman about getting a supplement to try for menopausal flushes. He recommended a product called Femi Yen. Although I didn't see immediate results, I committed to taking it 2x per day to give it a couple months, to allow for results. I began experiencing daily and increasing issues with stomach acid pain, soft stool, and digestive problems, that I don't normally have. It didn't occur to me immediately that the Femi Yin could be the culprit, because to be honest, I was thinking my one cup of coffee a day was the cause. But then I noticed the stomach issue occurred even when I didn't have my coffee one day. That's when it registered, that the only change was Femi Yin. I decided to stop taking it after 50 days, to eliminate the possibility, and to my surprise, within 12 hours I had zero issues with my digestive, stomach acid, and my stool was completely back to normal, and yes, I was drinking my normal coffee. After that, I looked more into the product and found that there were other people reporting the same issues. I waited a few more days to be certain before making my final assessment. I have always felt confident in Alternative Health and recommend them often. Today, I decided I should be proactive by calling them, just to give feedback on my experience with the product, in an effort to simply make them aware of the potential side effects. I had absolutely no intention of getting a refund. THIS is where I became very disheartened and decided to write the review. I called and got the voicemail, so left a quick message to call me. Later, I received a text, "This is alternative health. We are shortstaffed. How can we help you?" My response, "Was going to give you important feedback on a product I used. Call me when you can. Messaging is more time consuming." I said that because I prefer a quick personalized conversation over text. It's just impersonal. I got a call back, and a very hurried sounding lady immediately was telling me again how they were short staffed. I began to tell her how I had just wanted to give them a quick feedback on the Femi Yin because it had caused issues they may like to be aware of. Before I could say ANYTHING, she began in a defensive posture saying that no one else has had any problem with the product, and questioned whether I had paid for $100 consult with Jim, and when I said I hadn't spoken to Jim, but another gentleman, her posture became even more irritated, and disinterested only to emphasize again that I needed to come in for the $100 consult to talk to Jim. I was really taken back by her demeanor, and my husband even commented how ugly and uncaring she seemed on the speaker phone to me like she was bothered by my call. Mind you, I NEVER suggested a refund, but my only motive was to share with them my feedback in case they were not aware, and if it could be helpful in some way. After feeling like I was being a pain in her rear, and since I didn't spend enough money to be worthy in some way, and the fact that she never even expressed the slightest concern or interest in what the product side effect was for me , I figured I should politely end the call. I said, if you think Jim is interested in my feedback, please have him give me a call. I walked away feeling like I would never want to go there again, because I was so dismayed by her lack of empathy and total lack of concern for my health or that of anyone else for that matter. Has the personalized service become more about peddling product, peddling consults and little to do with people? Jim, has your business lost your way since you committed your life to helping people after you discovered how important it was in your wife's health journey so many years ago?

I was several time at this Alternative store! Always professional and their knowledge is priceless. The man in this store is super nice. I asked him if he is doctor.. He said -No.)) sorry I don’t know his name.. He explains very easy how to use herbal .organic stuff. I fell much better today and never go to CVS again. It is better than chemical medicine!
