I've lived here for at least 6 years. I've been through a lot of managers. Most took great care of the property and cared about the grounds and who lives here. Now, the grounds are a mess. The landscaping has gone way down hill. No pretty flowers or fresh mulch, trash all over the place and leaves that need to be blown out. Also needs new pavement and lines in the parking lot. I called corporate regarding these issues and barely anything has been done! I go to the pool and there's 50 people there, most of who don't even live there. It's very uncomfortable. There's 10 people living in an apartment who probably aren't even supposed to be ther and loud yelling and noise late at night. It's getting very ghetto!!! I can't wait to get out of here. I don't feel safe. Very bad Management!! I do not recommend unless you want ten people living in your apartment that aren't known to management. Used to be a great safe neighborhood. Not anymore!!
Update: I moved out Oct 31st, 2024 and was charged a pet cleaning fee, which we didn't gave a pet. I told Christina the manager when returning the keys yet she still charged me. I've tried contacting them multiple times unable to get anyone on the phone. I sent emails to Matt and Christina in the office which they responded it but it hasn't been taken care off. I paid it because of threatening notices but want the pet fee returned ASAP. Avoid this properly at all costs!!

I just toured Aster and was greeted by Christina. She's knowledgeable about the area, showed us a beautiful apartment, and we fell in love with the fitness center and resort style pool. I can't wait to apply when my lease is up! She is highly professional and gave great recommendations on places to go since we are new to the area.

I would like to recognize and thank you for the excellence of the service in the club house. Not only the cleanliness and luxurious style of the place but also its excellent service. The coffee machine is the best, it is possible to have different coffee specialties, regular, cappuccino, etc, the expresso is my favorite. The guys on the staff, Matthew, Christina and Nick, are attentive and friendly to any need. Thanks Aster at Lely!

Been shopping around Naples to find some where to live, which has been crazy to find something in town. But I think it was Christina who gave me a tour of the property, and I really enjoyed her personality and professionalism! She made the whole tour a wholesome and well informed adventure. Nice place and nice amenities.

I first looked at and toured Aster in 2019 after ending my lease with Aventine a few miles up the street. I was very impressed by everything Aster had to offer. The units were beautiful, the property was well kept, the location was fantastic, and the on site amenities were top notch. As it turns out, I ended up getting a deal on a house that I couldn’t refuse and so it wasn’t in the cards. Fast forward to 2023; I ended up relocating to Naples. Due to inflation and interest rates being through the roof, I decided it was in my best interest to look at renting once again and Aster was one of the first properties that came to mind.

I once again toured the property in addition to about 4 other properties in the area. For the most part, it was as I remembered. The landscaping had aged and didn’t look quite as good as it had four years prior but this was to be expected. After scoping out all the properties, I decided to sign a lease with Aster for the following reasons:
1. Unit sizes and layouts were among the most impressive of all the properties I looked at.
2. Location was central to my multiple jobs.
3. Their pricing was competitive and beat out most of the other properties in terms of what you got for your money.
So after signing my lease and finding my new home, I began the process of moving in and making the unit my own; painting, decorating, furnishing, etc. Once finished, I was extremely pleased and felt I had made the best decision. That first year went by without many issues. There were hardly any maintenance requests (i think maybe just some light bulb/fixture issues if i recall correctly). There were some other things I could nitpick but i’m not the type of person to complain about minor issues having been a landlord previously. These include: giant mountains of trash by the dumpster, issues with front gates and SmartPlus App, inattention to landscaping/insecticide treatment at times, etc.
On the contrary, I do feel that Aster has done a fair job of addressing these issues as they arose and as with any rental property, these are the type of issues that renters can expect at one point or another.
Where my experience really began to sour was a few months back when the rainy season began and I came home from a 24 hour shift at the firehouse to find a large leak in the ceiling of my second bedroom. The area of wet/bubbling drywall was about 3 feet long by one foot wide and the carpet below was soaked as well. There was a constant drip and so i had to move half of the furniture in the room, put down, plastic, and place a catchment bin to trap the water that continued to drip. I immediately placed an emergency work order. While the process of completing the order was easy, it took about two weeks for the issue to be completely resolved (as i was told) which supposedly involved roofers checking and fixing the issue in the crawl space between the third floor units and the roof, refinishing the ceiling in my unit, and cleaning the carpet. It is probably worth mentioning that I was not present when the roofers supposedly came and when maintenance fixed the ceiling and so I cannot vouch for the quality of work performed. I also noted the ceiling had been refinished during my move in inspection but there was no evidence of leaks at that time and during the previous summer when I moved in, we had little to no rain. Fast forward not even two months and I came from my shift at the firehouse today to find the exact same leak with wet and bubbling drywall and a wet carpet. So starts the emergency maintenance request process again.
Although I am not a roofer, I am a handy guy and have done work flipping houses. I can say without reservation that a 10 year old Florida roof that cannot handle heavy rain let alone a tropical storm or hurricane is of poor integrity. Additionally it is clear that issue was remedied with a band aid fix. Although I don’t have the ability to inspect the crawl space to see the work performed, I can only imagine there must be mold damage as well.
