If I could give this office no stars, I would. They ordered glasses for my mom, and they weren't correct. They would not refund, lied, and said they told her not to order them, but she insisted. This is not true. She would not have ordered them if they told her not to.

Update; After posting the above review, the office refunded my parents' account. We will be returning the glasses to them.

I had a very unpleasant experience here. The customer service was horrible, and the doctor didn't seem knowledgeable. It felt like a complete waste of money. The doctor was rude and kept changing his story. When I mentioned I might get a second opinion, he became even nastier.

Additionally, I was told to arrive 30 minutes early, but no one informed me that the office would be closed for lunch. I had to sit in my car with the AC running in 92-degree weather for 30 minutes, which was very inconvenient and costly.

I initially thought the negative reviews might be exaggerated, but my experience confirmed their accuracy. I would not recommend this place. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

Never again. I took my son in for contacts. They just weren't right for him so he's sticking with glasses. Stopped in today to get the pupil measurement to order glasses online. The short old lady at the desk was EXTREMELY RUDE. Would not give us the measurement. She was annoyed that we were even there. If you hate your job that much, do us all a favor and quit. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. My son literally can not see without his glasses. For her to treat someone with a medical condition that way is just beyond wrong. (they kept my $50 deposit for contacts we never received as well)
TO THE RECEPTIONIST, IF YOU CANT TREAT PATIENTS/CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT, GO WORK AT PIGGLY WIGGLY OR WALMART WHERE THEY PAY YOU TO BE RUDE TO PEOPLE. Have the day you deserve.

Okay, so I get where some of the negative reviews are coming from, but honestly, they kind of helped set my expectations. Overall, I was pretty happy with my visit. Yeah, the office looks a bit outdated, and sure, the optometrist dropped a few curse words here and there.

BUT, Dr. Bazarte knows his stuff. My eye exam was thorough, and I felt like he took the time to explain everything. Plus, I was able to get an appointment the same week I called them.

I also never once felt like he was trying to sell me a product at an unreasonable price. Instead, he price matched my contact lenses to Walmart pricing.

I didn't give it a perfect rating because, well, the office could definitely use a facelift. And maybe switching to digital records would help smooth things out regarding charting errors or ordering errors other experienced.

Despite all that, I had a decent experience. It's not perfect, but there's something kind of charming about the place.

I had to delete my previous review as I have more to add. 3 for 3 this doctor has gotten my prescription, my grandmothers prescription, and my mothers prescription wrong. We’ve all had to pay out of pocket to see a better doctor not even a month after having an appointment with this doctor. Not only is he incredibly rude, egotistical, demanding, irritating, ignorant, and aggressive to his patients… the office itself is extremely run down, outdated, they’ve got glasses from the 80’s and 90’s in there to choose from. Poor hygiene, maintenance, and poorly organized and run. I honestly don’t know how this place is still passing state inspections and hasn’t been shut down. It is clearly filled with black mold and mildew. Really wish there was a way to get my money back because all they did was mess me up honestly.

This is the worst eye doctor I have ever seen the office smells of mold. I think they need to be updated. Seriously I took my glasses back there twice because I could not see out of them. Even on the third time I didn’t even go back a waste of money, and a waste of time. I will wait six months to see an eye doctor if this is the only place that I have to go there’s other centers in the area that do a way better job and more professional someone really needs to go in and evaluate this company.

Wouldn’t recommend the place especially if you’re taking your child to them who has dyslexia. ZERO bedside manners. My daughter wasn’t refusing she shut down due to the way he treated her. Also my daughter said he gave off a very abusive vibe. You can tell he has a temper.
Also one of her eyes were dilated and one wasn’t.
