I felt compelled to write this review. I had a visit to the digestive disease division of the hospital recently. The experience was all positive. The doctors were thorough and friendly. The front desk staff and nurses (6 of them) were all very attentive and caring. One of the them stood at the door to see my off until I stepped into the car when I was picked up.

If I could give this hospital 0 stars I would. I went to the ED for high glucose level around 10pm. Didn't get a room till 12:30am. They didn't give me a blanket or anything. They just gave me a thing to change into and said open to the back. The doctor came in and said we will order blood work and get you settled. There is no reason why it's going to be 2am ans I'm still waiting on Blood work. Smh bad customer service.

Absolutely abhorrent experience akin to a scam. We visited the hospital for my son's 104 degree fever. 3 hours and 30 minutes late we saw a doctor who said immediately was overworked and had little experience in pediatrics. He wasn't able to get the otoscope in my son's ear, yet he deemed that the 104 fever could potentially be due to teething. We were instructed to leave at that point and were treated to a $1,500 bill for that.

Horrible Experience at Milford Hospital. My daughter with Asperger’s is here because her sugar elevated to 536. We got here Tuesday afternoon. 24 hours later we are in a room but no one has talked to us as all about what is going on. Nurses are extremely rude. We’ve never experienced diabetes - so don’t talk to me like I know what you are talking about and get frustrated with me when I don’t understand. This is even harder on my daughter with Asperger’s. No one has even come to explain any aspect of this at all. Should have gone to Bridgeport Hospital. Will never ever come here again.

I went in yesterday feeling very nervous about my symptoms. Nurse Abby came over and was awesome right off the bat. She knew exactly what she was talking about, answered my questions with confidence, and made sure to keep checking up on me. Would recommend. Thanks Abby

We came because my mother was having a 4 1/2 hour surgery. On the phone they told us 2 people can come with her, but one would have to stay in a lobby. Which was fine. But when we get there, they refused to let her son in law enter the building. After she went into surgery, I walked back to meet with my husband. I noticed huge rooms FULL of 50 or 60 chairs with not one person in them. When I got outside to keep him company, The desk clerk told us to see if they will let us sit in the ER lobby especially since it’s empty and seeing as they have outlets I could get my phone charged. I thought it was a good idea. But When we get there I explained that the other security sent us to ask if we could sit here until my mother gets out of surgery. Both security looked at us as if we had two heads and said “no. stay in your car” we explained that we didn’t have a car, that we took an Uber and couldn’t afford an extra trip. He said “well that’s not my problem. You have to leave.” They let my husband use the restroom but on his way out he asked “can’t we just sit here? It’s away from the lobby.” The security said “ I said no! now get out!” When we were walking to an outside bench we were stopped by another security guard and they said “did you tell them that we sent you over there with permission to sit there?” We were stunned. I said “no, we asked just as you guys instructed. But they were very rude.”

What doesn’t make sense to me is that the hospital is FULL of chairs and they refuse to let anyone use them?. If this was about covid issues then you would enforce the 6 feet rule. But no? They just kick everyone out? Why call us and tell us we can’t sit in a lobby but when we get there you refuse hospitality?
