The staff are very courteous and the optometrists are very good at what they do: the doc's exam was very quick yet thorough, and the staff got me the most bang for my insurance bucks when buying new glasses. Unfortunately, it takes months to be seen (I get it- it's because they're good and have a lot of clients). However, the big issue is it takes three weeks to receive your new glasses. That's pretty unacceptable considering if I order directly from Oakley, or even Warby Parker, I'll receive my new glasses within a week, typically in four days. I'd love to give Broome five stars, but waiting three weeks, minimum, is pretty unreasonable.

Dr. Mike Broome is personal, professional, and very thorough. He has a way of making his patients feel at ease and takes time to explain all information in detail. Dr. Mike is very upbeat, kind and takes great care of his patients

First time at A eye doctor absolutely no direction. Nobody told me what my eyesight was. What my son eye sight was. The tech got a little frustrated with me when I could not get the contacts in ,also never done before. After the contact fell on the floor and I was told to pick it up and try again. I was a little deterred at that point.And just said, forget the contacts cuz, I was not putting that back in my eye. She got up. She took my paperwork to the desk. said, have a good day, I've never got my eye dilated. Never was told what my vision was never was told anything. I will never go to eye doctor because of location convenience. That was the worst experience i've ever had in my entire life, two and a half hours later and nothing really done had I paid money for something. ZERO STARS ?

Don’t get fitted for contacts here! They’ll make you pay the fitting fee for contacts that you’ve worn for 6 years, tell you they have to order the contacts “but you can go ahead and cover that fee and then you won’t have to when you come back”

Then get ghosted for almost two months and then when you call to ask they say it’s non refundable.

So go here I guess if you like being stolen from and ghosted?

Dr. Broome is great but the optical staff is not. After my son’s eye exam he wanted to keep the same frames, I asked if we could just order new lenses, I was told no. So we ordered a second pair of the same frames. Fast forward a few weeks later and he needs a revision to his lenses and they were able to just order new lenses. Today when I went in to get them and ask why I was told just ordering lenses was not possible, she said she had no idea why I was told that and “it’s not like it was that much more for the frames”. It’s was money that I didn’t have to spend! We won’t be going back.

So disappointed in our experience at Broome Family Eyecare. The front desk was rude, Dr. Broome refused to return my call and did not fully explain the prescription or reason for choice of a particular brand of contacts. Coming from a small, now closed eye doctor I was expecting so much more. They also refused to help adjust glasses stating I needed to take them back where I got them. We came to Broome because the old place was closed. After explaining that, they said "Sorry, Policy." I won't be returning.

Dr. Broome was so friendly! Was such a positive experience. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, which I’d never experienced before. Highly recommend.
