I don't know the man I've talked to from the Business office but he's wanting me to pay more money on an outrageous bill when I've told him I'm on a fixed income and what I get paid once a month, the small amount of hours I work a month and trying to get higher payments that I'm not able to pay. It's ridiculous and very unprofessional. And I don't appreciate it. I can only pay what I can afford to pay.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Shoaib. He listened to my history and made his own diagnosis. He didn't want to hear what other doctors had told me in the past. I found that to be very reassuring.

Very good experience at CRMC emergency room.
I am a 76 year old male. I had a never-before frightening experience with rapid-onset loss of energy that caused me to lay down on the grass of my garden. Wife helped get me to CRMC, and they were great! Even though the ER was completely full when I arrived, and since I was OK to walk and talk, it took barely an hour of waiting for them to perform what I think is a comprehensive series of investigations to make sure that I was completely recovered from the rapid-onset loss of energy experience. I highly recommend Cameron Regional Medical Center Emergency Room.

Very thankful for this hospital! Traveling from out of state and came down with appendicitis. Excellent team in the ER. They quickly addressed immediate symptoms and diagnosed condition. Met with surgeon in the evening and set surgery for next morning. Nurses and aides were top-notch. Knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Surgery went well; was discharged later that day. Discharge instructions were clear and well-communicated. Very pleased with Cameron Regional Medical Center!

Absolutely terrible patient care! They refused to transfer my mother, who was very ill with diverticulitis, to another facility that was equipped to handle her care. She had a heart transplant a few years ago and had already battled a severe case of diverticulitis months prior, both at KU. The on call doctor at Cameron, Cassandra From, wouldn't even take a phone call to discuss a potential transfer because it was a Friday night and "she didn't seem that bad". My mother had to discharge herself against medical advice and we took her directly to KU ER. Of course, they triaged her and admitted her. The doctor said she absolutely should have been transferred and was lucky that she didn't stay there longer. Deb, Robert and Cassandra, I hope next time you listen to the patient and patient's family, especially her POA, and humble yourselves for just a moment and consider the fact that you might not have all of the information to make the decision.

As a healthcare executive, I have put off writing this review for a long time, not wanting to let my personal frustrations impact my ability to provide a balanced, accurate review. After having multiple services and interactions with this organization over the 2+ years we have lived in the Cameron area, I am not putting off giving my review any longer. First, provider offices rarely answer the phone or return voicemail messages in a timely manner (rarely within 48 hours if ever) and I have to call multiple times to get even the simplest question answered or need addressed. Even when providers have told me during appointments they will do something, I end up having to call repeatedly because they did not do what they said they would do. This is not isolated to provider offices, however. Another example is having diagnostic tests such as lab/imaging ordered by outside providers that have "Please fax results to...." with their fax number included. Results are NEVER faxed as requested and I again end up making MULTIPLE calls requesting this be done. Why do patients have to continually force people to do their job? This organization is definitely NOT meeting the needs and expectations of their patients and from reading other reviews, the organization has made no effort to improve these issues over time. They may be "the only game in town", but for me and my family, I am willing to travel from this point forward because there is ZERO convenience of going local if I am going to have to call and follow up repeatedly just to get them to do what they are supposed to do.

My wife had a baby here and I can't begin to say enough great things about the staff! From the very first minute we walked through the door the nurses were doing everything in thier power to make us feel comfortable. They were attentive, well trained and went the extra mile to ensure our baby was brought into a warm environment and the energy was great. Thank you Ob staff!
