I am a Registered Nurse and will NEVER EVER return to this Emergency Room, if I’m in severe Pain. . I presented with appendicitis, was given a pediatric dose of pain medication. After being transferred to a room waiting for the Surgeon, I was asked to keep my voice down because I was Screaming in unbearable pain.

Eventually my Appendix burst and the pain got slightly better. The Surgeon, Jeremy Stayton was ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I would return to him over and over! But PLEASE AVOID this Emergency Room if you’re in legitimate pain! I could have died once my appendix burst, but God Forbid they provide sufficient pain relief! Or do tests to see if it burst. I easily could have died once my appendix burst but all they cared about is that I stay quiet. For Goodness sakes, I would’ve slept through it if you believed in sufficient pain medication!

The care and treatment were good for the most part. I did feel that some assumptions were made that a specialist should actually look into. Especially since pain and tenderness are related. My complaint is the emergency room team should think about the fact the patrons can actually hear them at their desk. I heard a lot of rude judgements and assumptions being made. In fact this is privacy violation in my opinion seeing some comments were related to medical situations. Yes a big PHI violation....And it really makes the wait while you or a loved one gets treatment very uncomfortable! ....fyi this individual I brought in ended up having Pancreatic Cancer. The pain & discomfort only got worse. I can't help but wonder if they took him seriously if things would have been different. We ended up at Fitzgibbon shortly after where they even said he didn't have cancer & a bunch more false assumptions. Boone finally got him his diagnosis & proceeded to get him to the right specialist.

Very unimpressed by the level of treatment I received at the ER. I was injured trying to break up my dogs from fighting and they called law enforcement on me when I arrived at the hospital. They made me think they were gonna take my dogs away or possible arrest me, which caused my blood pressure to skyrocket. Subsequently, the staff then treated me like I was an unintelligent, second class citizen. Western medicine is so corporatized now that it’s full of brainwashed “professionals” that lack true empathy and medical integrity. This experience proves the fact that we are failing in our approach to healthcare in the United States.

Staff is always funny, friendly, and caring. The nurses and doctors seem to really care for the patients, stay informative and make every experience as comfortable as they can. Cancer team was so generous and exceptional. Really heart felt and grateful for them.

This is possibly the worse hospital of the modern era. The so called ER doctors are so untrained and lazy that they refuse to do anything other then a covid test and once it comes back negative it's automatically a virus. No other testing will be performed even tho they have the ability to do a 12 panel test. I feel that their nonchalant, inept ability to fully diagnose patients completely hampered the health of a close family member. Mispractice lawsuit pending.

Everyone was exceptional from the start to the end. Could not have asked for better care.
All the doctors that I have seen rather it was with my mother-in-law, sister and husband have been great!
Those who I have had to speak with in regards to insurance and billing have also been excellent!!

Very pleased with the level of care I received. Dr. Eric James was wonderful at explaining everything and his level of explaining the next level of care that I need to follow was extraordinary. He was very thorough and attentive in explaining how my ailment works in my body. I highly recommend the podiatry department.

The surgical team here at Carroll County Hospital is exceptional. From the doctors to the nurses they are also professional and so caring. Amanda a nurse in surgical went above and beyond today and she gave me contacts for individuals who could help my mother from home and everyone who called me has been absolutely wonderful.
