I received a call and had the opportunity to speak with Aaron, the milling manager, regarding my recent experience. He took the time to understand my concerns, which I truly appreciated. It's refreshing to encounter a company like C&H Precision that values both its reputation and its customers. Aaron and his team made a concerted effort to ensure I felt acknowledged beyond just being an order number; they were dedicated to resolving the communication issues we had. I have mixed feelings about this company. I had heard great things about their work, so I sent my slide in. I received a call confirming that they had received it and would start working on it ASAP; nothing was mentioned about the slide being damaged or missing parts.

I received the slide back two weeks later, and it looked amazing. I was excited to see their work, but my troubles began when I discovered a small plastic bag containing parts. I was confused because I had paid $12.50 for them to assemble and disassemble the slide. Upon inspection, I noticed that the extractor spring was bent, and the extractor itself was missing.

I called the shop and spoke with a representative who explained that the slide must have been damaged during shipping. However, I had paid $24.95 for shipping insurance, which should have covered any damages to the slide while in transit. The representative mentioned he needed to do some research and would call me back.

A few minutes later, he called to inform me that the technician who had worked on my slide noted that the parts were already damaged and missing when they arrived. If that was the case, why was I not notified when I was initially contacted to confirm that work would begin on the slide? The representative's only response was that the technician had noted the damage.

I have several questions: What specific measures does the company take to inspect items received for service to prevent issues like this? Why was there no communication about the slide's condition when I was first informed that they would start working on it, other than "We will get to work ASAP"? What is the company's policy on refunds or compensation for damaged items insured during shipping?

To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I had to purchase the slide internals from Sig for $129.00, an unnecessary expense since I had paid the shipping insurance.

I had to exchange some hardware for my optic and picked it up at their local facility. I was greeted graciously and instructed to another office. Once again I was met with positive and welcoming staff. Paperwork had to be done in the system so as I was waiting I talked to other staffers that were working on other things. They were informing me of current products and new ones that were just released. I was very pleased with the time they took and product knowledge they shared. I stayed longer than expected because the staff was so welcoming and informative. Fantastic company that stands behind their product with exceptionally friendly staff!

I finally sent my SIG p 320 for optic milling. I will admit at first I was concerned, not knowing the outcome of this process. But let me explain you that the finish result was spectacular. I am very impressed with the workmanship of it. Wow, I will recommend for anyone who is considering milling their pistol slide to give them a shot. You will not be disappointed. I also bought one of their optics and let me explain you these things is spectacular. Thank you for your hard work.

I was really worried about having slide milling service done but let me tell you, I was shocked at the excellent workmanship from C-H precision… not to mention that they received my slide 2 days before before
Hurricane Helene hit their home state.
The fit was perfect and the communication about my questions was spot on.
Fantastic company and employees!!!

After reading the reviews and seeing that there was quite a few issues regarding screws and fit, I was a little worried that I would not be happy with my purchase. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The plate itself is of superior quality. They included a large selection of screws in the package and even an extra of each was included. The fit is absolutely superb with perfect tolerances. If you’re thinking about getting one, but you’re not certain, given my personal experience, you won’t regret it. Shipping was lightning fast as well. Very positive experience. Thank you guys
