I'm so glad I found this optometrist! I've been having a couple different problems with my eyes the last few years, severe light sensitivity coupled with migraines, eye strain, and eye redness due to the strain. I had been seen by a different optometrist a year ago and got a new prescription and axon optics migraine lenses. They helped, but toward the end of the year the eye strain and redness came back. So I found this optometrist and he really took the time to ask questions about my history and did a few additional tests. He found astigmatism in my right eye and that my eyes are slightly misaligned. No other doctor had found this. On top of that I was able to get the better Avulux migraine lenses. He explained things so well and my new glasses have been amazing! My vision is so clear now and no eye strain. The Avulux lenses have also been amazing. They do give some things a green tint, but it's really helped my light sensitivity a lot, more than the axon optics did. I highly recommend this optometrist, he's so friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I also highly recommend the Avulux lenses if you suffer from light sensitivity and migraines.

Dr. Richard Gilkison is a pro's pro!
He is one of the few optometrists left in this country who cares more for your examination and diagnosis, than how much you are going to spend on frames this time.
I have learned to comb grey hair, am 80 years old and as I look through the rear view mirror of life, I realize that I am blessed to be able to find a medical professional like Dr. G.!

This place is a joke. The Dr. Seems to have a hearing problem, more like slecteve hearing. I asked questions but he didn't seem concerned with what I asked. Only how much money I was going to spend. After I said I was not interested he got upset with me. I told him you could have listened to me in the first place our time would not have been wasted. See that you have no one in the office I'm the who should be upset. This was a total waste of time and bass seeing how I was miss lead 20mils out of my way.
