As a new patient, I was notified that my 3:00 appointment was canceled and if I could come in at 1:00 or 2:00. I accepted the 2:00 appointment. I had no wait time. I checked in and was taken to exam room. It was clean and bright. The assistant was very thorough and professional. She was performing her job and the office managers job. She was awesome. They generally don’t perform cleanings the same day, but because I didn’t need a deep cleaning I was able to get my cleaning done. I was impressed after not seeing a dentist in 34 years. I will see them in 6 months. “Way to go!” Coast Dental New Smyrna Beach.

I had a teeth cleaning and oral exam. Three teeth that needed to be worked on. Made it to front desk. Said she was not going to make an appointment. Trying to get me in sooner. Said she would call me very soon. Well that never happen. Stopped in to see them. Reminded them I needed work. Still never heard back from them. They got money for teeth cleaning in oral exam. I guess that's all they wanted. Never use them again, ever. I don't know who is giving the favorable reviews but I have not seen it.

Everyone in the office was very kind and professional. Although, as a new patient I would have preferred to be informed there is no dentist on site before I was sitting in the dental chair. They took x-rays, then had an in office telehealth video call with a dentist to review my x-rays. I know it isn’t their fault there is no dentist, as they retired, but being informed would have saved me valuable time.

There's a reason why you can get an appointment right away. They often book you for a checkup and cleaning and then send you home after the checkup (and 19 x-rays) so you have to return. They lied about one charge, they snuck another one into my bill, they kept me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up. My cleaning felt like it was the assistant's first one. Another assistant did checkup and seemed mostly clueless as well before I saw an actual dentist on video. TOTAL JOKE-STAY AWAY

I’m not one to leave reviews or especially that of negative commentary, but do not waste your time booking here. I scheduled my initial appointment back in March, and as the appointment approached the day before, I received a text saying they cancelled my appointment. I called to reschedule, and I was rescheduled for July. The morning of my appointment (after confirming the appointment over text and email days prior), I called myself to confirm at which they cancelled my appointment again. For those of you looking for consistency and clear communication about your appointment, don’t book here.

This office screwed up my last two appointments. I have four kids. Last time, I had a sitter hired and I showed up to find out they had “lost” my appointment. This morning, my husband took time off of work to keep the kids so I could go. I showed up at 8am only to find out that they canceled it and no one called me. I had confirmation texts for both appointments and the woman at the front (who I assume is a front desk manager of some sort) confirmed that there was no note on my account that they made any effort to contact me. Both times, she was apologetic and expressed her frustration for me. As kind as she seems, whoever can’t seem to handle making and keeping appointments needs to be retrained or removed from their position. My advice? If you plan to make an appointment here, show up the day before and make sure they still have you in the system since they can’t seem to do their jobs properly.

My wife had to schedule an emergency appointment for a major tooth issue. She was scheduled for the closest available appointment which was three weeks out. The day of the appointment my wife and mother of 3 was able to align child care and went to her appointment. Upon her arrival the office was closed and she called the office and was told by the answering service that there was a “scheduling issue” with the dentist and they would not be in that day which resulted in the office being closed and all appointments cancelled. A phone call atleast would have been nice… very unprofessional and inconsiderate to your patients.
