At my annual eye check and I was told that my near vision has changed and I needed new glasses. The doctor walked me to the glasses display area where a lady proceeded to check my information. I let her know that I had bought two pair of glasses there in the last 4 years. After they check them, they told me that they were in good condition but they recommend me to buy new ones. Since I only use them for work in front of my PC, I asked them to use one of the frames that I had previously purchased there, and just change the lenses. At this point, everything was fine. However, a couple weeks later when they called me to pick up my glasses; they had broken the frame and told me to pick a new one free of cost; since they broke them.
After I chose a new frame and went home; they called me and said that I needed to pay for the new frame since I had signed their contract that specifies that they were NOT responsible for any damages to my glasses. After an short argument over the phone; they decided to honor their word again to replace the frame they broke; however, few days later, they called me again saying that there was a difference of $200+ that I had to pay.
When I asked for an explanation, they couldn’t provide me one so I figured that it was just a different way to make me pay again for the frames they broke.
Then, I went to the store and asked them to cancel the order so they gave me my broken glasses, they reimbursed what I had already paid when I placed the initial order and I left.

A month later, they sent me a bill because they said that they reimbursed me the money without a supervisor’s authorization. So I called the number on the back of the bill and they said that there was nothing she could do besides send my info to the supervisor. I asked for the supervisor’s info and Tatiana, the person on the phone, refused to provide. So I came here again with my broken glasses and the bill, and they told me that there’s nothing they can do without their supervisor and I should have read their contract before.
At that point, I was NOT asking for them to replace the frame that they broke, I just didn’t understand what they are charging me for. I asked for their supervisor’s information again, and they refused to provide but they called her when I was there.
The supervisor said that she was going to look into it and was going to call me back in two days. Well, it has been two days and nobody has called me yet.
It has been over two months since I went there to replace my lenses and so far I have ended with a broken frame and a new bill.

This was my first time going to Colorado Eye Center- Eastlake. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable! Dr Bands was awesome- she is so easy to talk to and she answered my questions thoroughly. I really enjoyed my appointment and picking out new glasses was fun. Cost with my insurance was explained clearly.

I was few minutes late, but the lady @ the reception was nice and accommodating.
The ophthalmologist Gary H. was really down to earth with me. He took his time to explain everything so I can easily understand.
Definitely ? percent recommendable place to go for eye care. The lady @ the eye glasses store was really helpful and assisted me nicely to purchase the glasses that fit my need and that I can afford.

Dr. Egan is wonderful and makes me feel that the health of my vision is their number one priority whenever I go in for an appointment.

Great experience and professional staff from checking in to meeting with Dr. Bands. I was very apprehensive since I hadn't had eye exam for over10 years. Dr. Bands listened to my concerns was very thorough and explained everything perfectly. I've finally found an Optometrist I can trust my eyes and family with.

The doctor was great I liked her. The front is bad. Be coming to this place over 15 yrs and I told them that I had a new company that took over and I needed some contacts til October when my benefits kicked I. And was told not a chance which in the past I was able too…. So I had to wear my contacts for 4 months til I was able to get appointment set up and then when I called in they said they had 1 available and then told me they had to change because of my eye appointment needs to be a1hr time spot. I have had the same contacts for the last 4 yrs and I have be in and out less than 1 hr in the past… you need better people working the front desk. That’s the face of the company for you all

I've been going here for years. Dr. Holtzman is great. Very thorough, and really personable and easy going. The assistant and front desk staff are also a pleasure to deal with.
I've been wearing the same glass for several years, and have never been pressured to purchase new glasses or lenses. Just a "Thanks for coming in, and we'll see you next year."
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family.
