I saw Dr. HAZANY twice. Two days before my first appointment the front office called and told me I would owe over $100 for my visit. I told them I have met my deductible so she gave me the number to call my insurance and check. I did and sure enough I had met my deductible. I get to the office and see Dr. HAZANY. I am giving him my history, and telling him what medications I'm taking and why I'm seeking help again. He says that this is a business to him and I am a client...which was odd to me. He then gives me sample medication which was brought in by a medical sales representative. He seems very conservative about my treatment plan especially considering how I was feeling. I truly didnt feel like he listened to me. He acted as if he didnt believe what I was expressing to him. I go to schedule my next appointment and the lady at the front dest says I owe $47. I told her I can't pay that until the next day, she rolls her eyes and tells me very rudely that I should have known I'd have to pay today for the co-insurance...they charged me the next day. I just saw Dr. HAZANY again today. I have called his office twice prior to my appointment; giving his front office vital information about my treatment regarding new medications and even had another doctor I was seeing, fax over his medical notes. When I arrived at my appointment and sat with Dr. HAZANY he had no idea that I had called him and also never received the fax. He then asked me which lady did I speak to, I told him I don't know, they don't say their names when they answer. To which he replied stating that it would be helpful if I knew who I spoke with...I told him it would be helpful if the women at the front desk communicate with him when a patient calls to give vital information. After discussing the treatment plan another doctor and myself were working on, he decides that this is way over his head and he doesnt wish to talk to my doctors and therapists. "Too many cooks in the kitchen" he says. I communicate to him that I am hoping my doctors and therapists will all talk to one another to make sure I am getting the treatment I need. The doctors I am seeing besides him are only for the program I am in and I still need a primary psychiatrist,
which is supposed to be him. He doesnt think he can help me. I am now left with no primary psychiatrist. Do not go here if you have depression or anxiety or trauma related issues. I am disgusted by this office and this man should NOT be practicing medicine and I fully intend on reporting him!
