The receptionist is VERY RUDE! I’ve been coming here over 12 years, never had an issue, same insurance. She tried to refuse my daughter her appt after I mentioned that I’ll be contacting corporate. “If you’re going to do that, then you can leave”. A customer has the right to contact whomever if they feel as though their needs are unmet! She ran my insurance over the phone when I made the appointment because I asked will there be an out of pocket cost. Why would I bring insurance cards when I’ve been coming well over 10 years with the SAME insurance and she confirmed it was on file because I ordered my glasses over the phone

After my partner ordered contacts three weeks ago, the lenses never came. She was given a few boxes of trial contacts that ran out. When she tried to get more because there was no expected delivery date in the near future we were told “she had glasses anyways what’s the big deal”
by the practice manager Amalia, Who took the phone from the very helpful secretary, Nia and started rattling off about only ordering one box of contacts without introducing herself. Amalia was combative and clearly trying to get off the phone as quick as possible. We canceled the order and will never give our business to this unprofessional office again.

I am deeply disappointed to see healthcare professionals lacking both passion and professionalism. Today, I made an appointment for my relative, but the office later called to inform me that the patient could not come because English is not her primary language. I requested to speak with the office manager, who clearly lacks the professionalism and compassion needed for the role. I'm also very disappointed that the doctor refused to see the patient after the appointment was scheduled, paperwork was completed, and the patient was already on her way to the practice.

I explained to the office manager that I could be contacted for any concerns or could be on the phone to interpret if necessary. I also emphasized that the patient understands everything, though English is not her first language. Despite this, the office manager firmly decided that the patient could not see the doctor simply because English wasn't her primary language. This highlights the unfortunate reality that discrimination still exists.

Toward the end of the call, the office manager mentioned they offer interpreter services, but only after I brought it up. Interpretation services were never offered initially, and instead, the appointment was canceled. The patient, who was experiencing medical issues, was denied care. This is a violation of practice, and I will be reporting the case to the State for further investigation. If English is not your first language, avoid this location on Loughborough. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of compassion these days. And be prepared for the office manager to hang up the phone on you.

I ordered glasses and contacts. Paid for a year supply. No solution or anything to work with for contacts. A week later pickup glasses. The glasses arms couldn't tightening waiting on another frame. Not good for me to Ref

They accept Medicaid. My eye exam was covered, and the glasses with some extras are affordable. The selection of glasses, great! The staff are friendly, and quick. It took about 30 minutes, and they accepted half of the payment.
I’m looking forward to the 2 weeks wait!

I am a returning customer of Dr. Resuli. Our family has followed her for years through a few different optometrist offices. My first eye exam with Dr. Resuli was the best one I ever had and was 15 plus years ago. I just received another eye exam that was fantastic. I can also state that the support staff at this location are friendly, awesome and accommodating as well. You won't regret a visit to this location. Just do it! Mike

Edit: I went to pick up my new glasses and inquired about a replacement screw for my old frames. Long story short, she hands me a new pair of frames with my old lenses installed and says no charge! Just thought you should know. Quality people and products.
