Recently had an eye exam with DC Optics, (for both glasses and contacts) and I am a completely satisfied customer. Professional and genuinely concerned with my well being, this team answered all my questions and addressed concerns I had, and also helped me decide on the best looking glasses, for me. This office is kid friendly, clean, comfortable and has the best office mascot, Ollie, who will always make you feel welcomed and loved. If you are looking for an optician in or near Fort Greene, Brooklyn, you should LOOK no further. “Once was blind, now I see. Amazing Grace how can it be!”

Dr. Cheng is a passionate and considerate optometrist with an excellent bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone based on that alone but it's also worth mentioning that his hours are more flexible than almost any other practice in the area. Do yourself a favor and come here.

I absolutely love DC Optics and Dr. Cheng. He is so kind, caring, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable and excited to visit. He has really great hours (including weekend time) and has squeezed me in when I had an eye issue pop up during the day at work. He always answers my questions, even when I think of them AFTER my appointment. I wish all my doctors were Dr. Cheng! Highly recommend DC Optics.

I have been going to this place for 10 years. Dr. Cheng is truly professional, thorough but also sweet and warm hearted. Dr. Cheng is very knowledge and lovely too. The staffs were friendly and efficient.

Exceptional quality of care and service. I had problems with my contact lenses for years that were never resolved until I came here. The doctor here figured out the problem immediately and got me on the right lenses. It was so easy and now I can wear my contacts with no problems at all! The doctor explained to me what the issue was in terms that were easy to understand — things no other doctor ever explained to me in my 20 years of wearing contact lenses.

Scheduling and communication were also great. I booked online and when I needed to make adjustments, I could just text them. It seems to be a small team of people who all genuinely care and are good at managing things so that they have enough time for everyone.

This was also one of the only optometrists in the area who was in network with my insurance! A 5 star experience in every way, I’ll never go anywhere else!

Have been returning to this office year after year with my husband and kids. Great office and personnel. Clean modern equipment and good selection of eyeglasses. Dr. Cheng is very thorough and takes the time to explain the full health status of your eyes. Office is dog and kid friendly. Always felt welcomed and never felt rushed. The whole staff also actively supports community activities which you don't see very often!
