Nobody ever answers the phone at DeKalb Package! You can call constantly day and night, and either get a fax tone, which is most likely a credit card purchase, or the phone is busy (typically later in the evening to closing time). Getting a human is just about impossible, but even if you happen to get really lucky to have someone answer on very rare occasions, they are typically rude and rarely answer questions to see if something is in stock before you go there. I am going somewhere else now for what I want, where they ALWAYS answer the phone and are pleasant in the store. Management at DeKalb Package needs to get another phone line that will be answered for customers AND get nicer employees, or just lose customers altogether! No wonder there are so many negative and 1 star reviews! I would give them 0 stars, if I could! Don't bother going there - find another place like I did and you'll be much happier!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! I saw that this was the only package store opened on Sunday at 9:30pm within 5 miles from me so I decided to go there. I order a pint of 1500 silver and a half a pint of Hennessy. I’m looking in the refrigerator next to me and He bags me a pint of Hennessy instead of half a pint. I don’t realize this until I pick up the bag after payment. I tell him I ordered a half a pint and he tells me I ordered a pint I tell him there was some type of miscommunication either on my end or yours and expect him to just change my order and give me the correct size and the refund mind you I paid in cash it shouldn’t be a big issue. He denies me the correct size and tells me he can’t tell me who the owner is and he doesn’t care and proceeds to ignore me until I say your karma is your karma he says I’m Nigerian we don’t believe in that bye. Statistically the biggest scammers in the world and they treat us this way here in our back yard? Thieves!!!If I could give you zero stars. I would….stay away.

Do not shop at this establishment! Rude cashier! When you have people who don’t mind spending their hard earned money try to be a little kind or simply stay at home! I was looking for my choice of drink behind the counter and with the cashier rudely asking what I want instead of moving to the side so I can get a good look. Not my first rude encounter. Switching my shopping location, store dingy as hell anyway.

This store closes at 1130 everyday. But the guy will close the store for an hour and just stare at people through the glass. Horrible service. Don't go there!!!! I came back again 3 nights later and he did it again kept the store closed from 10 pm to 1130pm when the close. He did one door dash order and closed again till the actual closing time. This guy is trash

Normally when I speak, im spoken back to and not stared at like im retarded when I say, "hi how are you?".. left my bottles right at the front... I like the normal people I see at nights. This super light middle part baby hair lady is rude and will definitely take away from the business..

I have been trying for 2 days to get an order delivered. Every single time that I tried to place my order a small message would pop up then disappear, so I couldn't read the message. I have tried at least 50 times. I spoke to the manager this afternoon and he said that the website was working fine, but couldn't offer me any solutions. Very disappointing.

Called the store and was told the Bourbon was in stock. After making the 30 minute drive to the store, I was told the Bourbon was locked in the back and the manager is the only person with a key.

I was told the manager would be there in 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting the new clerk on duty told me Joe wasn’t coming in today because he was 6 hours away.

The worst service I have ever received!
