I've known the Deputy's personally and professionally since 1997. I moved to Carson City to join my Dad and run our dart business.
I arrived with broken glasses and had no paperwork with my prescription information. That night I learned that my darting friends were in Optics! The next day I drove to Lake Tahoe so they could try and help me. I remember it took a while and lots of mix 'n match of frames and lenses. We were working with what was on hand. AMAZINGLY I left with solid glasses I could see through!
Deputy Optics is definitely the "get it done" solution to your eye care needs.

Great place. Wes fixed me up good. Thought my glasses were destroyed but he fixed them up good as new. Out standing. Great service.
Well totally smashed my glasses again. Thought for sure they were history. But Wes and the guys over at Deputy Optics fixed them up good as new. Unbelievable and only $60.00

Excellent service - very friendly and flexible with scheduling appointments. They accept walk-ins too. They are able to work on META smart sunglasses, putting in a prescription lens. They gave me a discount as a VSP member and helped me with reimbursement paperwork, above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Fantastical. I brought them a very difficult request - Gatorz sunglasses with original factory ANSI (shooting glasses rated lenses) to switch out. Gatorz said NO WAY and to just buy another pair ($250 retail).

Found online replacements and brought them into the deputies - 20 minutes later, new lenses replaced (after some serious dremel work).

Thanks guys for attempting the swap out instead of just saying "Nope - can't do it!" I don't have a need for glasses, but if in the future I do, you have a permanent client (even though I live in Reno, NV)!!! Thanks again...

Visited this shop a few days ago for a repair on 2 separate sets of sunglasses and was assisted by Tom. He handled the 2 issues that i was having on each set of sunglasses quickly and confidently, and I was very pleased with the service that I received. He made sure I was happy with the fixes/adjustments that he performed before I left and made sure all my needs were addressed. Great experience overall

Deputy Optics were able to make a custom pair of No-Line Progressive, prescription with 50% tint. not a lot of company's can do this. Resendable priced. They had my new pair in just a few days and they were just what I needed,.
