The best doctors ever! I wish i can come here but they don’t accept my insurance. Both my parents come here and i wouldn’t trust anyone else with my parents.

I found my ENT specialist! Dr. Walz and staff at Desert ENT friendly and caring. I get VERY anxious when someone works on my ears, but Dr. Walz put me at ease and made the office visit pretty pleasant. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience. Great building and wheelchairs accessible.
The only problem is the disabled parking arrangement. There is a structural post in the middle of the disabled parking loading zone. This poses a problem for having sufficient space for loading and unloading passengers.
Plus there is only one disabled parking space.
Perhaps the property owner can address this.
I'm available to provide guidelines to solve this.
Thank you.

Appointment at 9:30am by 10:45am at least 3 different people came in to say “the doctor is running late your next” like we already didn’t know that. Do better. Get trainings going for staff.. on time management and scheduling. You see the doctor running late call patients and let them know “the doctor is running about 1 hr to 1 1/2 late you are more than welcome to come in at your schedule time or an hour later being that you don’t have paperwork to fill out” it’s just that simple. I don’t know about others but I value my time.

Arrived at 10:57am with most of my portal information (more on that below) already completed for an 11am appt with Dr. Wilson. Was checked in at about 11:02 and called to an exam room at about 11:10. Not bad so far, except that when I answered the assistant’s question about what specific symptoms I was experiencing, she didn’t appear to document those. After she left I sat in that exam room for an hour!!! I asked two different people during my wait if I’d been forgotten about - the second person telling me about 11:50am that I was next. At about 12:10pm I could tell I wasn’t “next,” but knew I was done with that place and walked out!! I was stopped twice on my way to the front door to ask if I wanted to reschedule. To waste my time sitting in an exam room again? Please. I waited two weeks for this appointment to address symptoms I’ve had even longer than that, and attempted several times over that period to access their portal complete pre-appointment information: multiple “forgot password” attempts telling me my info wasn’t found, trying it all in Chrome and Safari, only to learn to morning of my appointment that my date of birth had been entered incorrectly in their system - but I still rushed to get that information to them before I arrived.

I don’t know what the problem was; the doctor taking too much time with other patients (I know, we’re usually complaining that doctors don’t take enough time with us) or scheduling too many patients (this place looks like a factory of employees and exam rooms everywhere), but a patient’s time/schedule is just as important as a physician’s, and patients should be treated that way. Given that I arrived and waited in an exam room for approximately 60 minutes, there were approximately 60 opportunities for any one of the 20-30 employees there to come into my room to apologize and tell me that the doctor was behind on his schedule and ask if wanted to continue waiting - but that only happened when they saw me walking out. This is not a practice that values patients’ time as they expect patients to value theirs.

I was experiencing sinus pain and pressure from chronic sinusitis. I saw Dr. Walz who performed an in office flexible endoscopy of my sinuses with topical anesthesia. There was no discomfort during the procedure. He diagnosed an obstruction to my sinuses. He obtained a sample of the bacterial fluid for culture to insure proper antibiotic coverage. He then scheduled endoscopic sinus surgery under general anesthesia. When I awoke I had dramatic improvement in my symptoms. I’ve had excellent results with his treatment. His office has been very responsive to my follow up concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Walz as an ENT specialist.

I was very impressed with Dr. Walz and his staff. Alot of times the staff sucks and the doctor is great or vice-versa. Everyone was in sync with the responsibilities and duties of each other. Finely tuned office. Very refreshing....
Thank you
