Historic Downtown Brunswick is a a must see. It has all the picturesque feels of a small port city, overflowing with personality and warmth. A variety of restaurants, bars, boutiques and entertainment with beautifully landscaped Squares all along Newcastle Street. Add it to your list next time you visit the Golden Isles!

Don’t let this quaint area escape you when visiting the Golden Isles ! Its new and ever increasing cool vibe from the new shops and music venues to the many open downtown music events like the recent Porch Fest featuring not only the fabulous Victorian Homes kept authentically but the local musical talent Tye Dye Sunset in the video !

Over 60% of stores and shops are closed down. Brunswick really needs to update their online presentation about what the historic downtown offers. If you are planning to spend the day down there, I would make sure you have other items planned for that day.
