What an awesome place! I didn't realize I was getting old until my vision started going. A coworker of mine ( John Wachovia ) recommended I stop by here and get my eyes checked. I took off work a few minutes early to stop by, and the staff was very accommodating. They got me an appointment with the Doctor and after that they got me some glasses that were just super. I highly recommend that if you're having issues with your eyes, give these people a try and they will not disappoint.

I have been having trouble with my glasses and decided to stop in this place and see how it was. I was reluctant at first due to past experience with other places, but I was tired of struggling with my glasses. When I walked in, I was greeted by a young lady that ended up being extremely helpful, Amy. She was very professional and super polite even though I was probably the typical old man and very stand-offish as I hate asking for help. Thankfully, she persisted and within a few minutes she had helped me find some frames that I liked and set me up an appointment with the actual eye doctor. Although I am reluctant about going to the eye doctor and even more so to get glasses, this was a great experience and I definitely recommend this place to anyone that is apprehensive about glasses or eye doctors in general. In the future, I will definitely be visiting them anytime I have issues with my vision.

I have had a wonderful experience with the crew at this eye business today! As a Team, everyone was nice & friendly. But as for only certain people, who dealt with Me, in personal & direct ways, i must express certain compliments unto & about them. First of all, Geanie, one of the sales associates, was very helpful, friendly, professional, very knowledgeable, patient & caring. Secondly, Amy, the manager, was very caring, friendly & walks in her authority well. & Thirdly, the dental doctor, who is Dr. David Murnan, was also very helpful, very knowledgeable, caring & friendly. I enjoyed talking & interacting with everyone. I'm also very satisfied about the eye examination that i received & the new pair of eye glasses i picked out, to purchase. I would surely recommend this particular location! I'm glad to be a customer & patient there! 🙂

I moved back from Florida recently. Needed a good eye doctor with all the surgeries I had done. Well I found Dr. Murnan and it has been great. Oh and the two young ladies Moriah and Genie well, they were just GREAT. Smiles on their faces is priceless and they did not get angry when I kept calling to make sure of my appointment time. Thank you Doc and Moriah and Genie. So if you want great top notch eye care go here.

I give upmost honor and praise to the amazing staff at Downtown Opticians on Northside Dr. They go outside of their scope of practice to make sure that their customers are more than satisfied! For example, for a year and a half now, I have had a very traumatic experience that was causing me to lose my eyesight, but God had a better plan for me. Not only is God healing me, but he is allowing my eyesight to become better than ever. The staff of Downtown opticians of Northside were all there for me. They have all given me a shoulder to cry on, words of encouragement when I was down, and last, but not least the smiles that would give me hope and brighten up my darkest days! So it is an honor not only to be a customer to each and everyone of you, but a friend as well. Thank you so much for all that you do!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Murnan is fantastic, however, when I went to have my glasses fixed due to the nose pad breaking off, the lady at the desk takes them back to fix them and gives them back to me with 5 deep scratches in my glasses and tells me she didn’t do it. They weren’t there with I gave them to her, she just kept denying that she messed them up. Be grown, admit your mistake and fix it. Instead I left out with my glasses messed up and a liar left sitting at the front counter.
Edit 2-24-24* they attempted to make this right, they made me new glasses after I called Paul who is the general manager, and I appreciate that; HOWEVER, one side is correct and the other side is loose. I can move the lens and you can clearly see all these lines in the lenses that’s in the glasses and can’t be cleaned off. This business has went downhill, all the way to the bottom and they’re digging their way deeper in the ground. I do not recommend purchasing your glasses from this company. I’m just over trying to get a correctly made pair of glasses from this company at this point. It’s ridiculous, I’ll never use this company ever again! First lie had someone’s fingerprints all in the lens, and couldn’t be wiped off. Second pair was good until the girl scratched them to h*ll and back, the third pair is explained in the beginning of the edit. BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE!

Got grandson eye exam done here nice doctor. He plays sports they don't have sports goggles so I had to go outside to get him a pair. Well I got prescription so I could order him some they didn't fill out prescription fully left out the distance from one pupil to the other. Which is needed in order to get med correct in goggles. Call to get it and they were Sooo rude and inconsiderate..I will not be bringing him back as the measurements were done at eye exam. SMH. now I have to get new exam to get ALL measurements . READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GO IN HERE ... SAVE YOUR MONEY .. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ESSENTIAL WHEN SPENDING YOUR MONEY!!!!!! We ordered glasses from them ..now you giving this excuse about you don't do it..then how did you do it to order the glasses you sold us !!!!! SMH BAD BUSINESS AND RUDE AS HELL!!!
