Called to make an appointment. Got a call center and the lady has zero training on what I needed to book an appointment, can't get through to the actual office... She wanted me to spell the procedure... I don't believe in being prescreened by people who are not qualified... I really wanted to try this provider but unfortunately I'm not willing to deal with the extra red tape and the lack of knowledge... If it's this bad trying to make an appointment, can you even imagine what it's like if you have a problem after the fact.

I had cateract surgery and the yag done by Dr. Liss

I went back to let him know my vision was still blurry. He told me there was nothing he could do.
I got a second opinion. The dr. Told me I still have scar tissue causing blurriness.
I have to have a second yag done.
Dr liss refused to even consider it.
He is a great dr but doesn't take the time to figure out the problem.
The office made it that I was imagining the blurry vision.
Glad I went somewhere else.
This has cost me a great deal of money I'm sorry I went here in the first place.

Good experience. Although for my first eye surgery the Dr came in and we talked before the surgery . But the second surgery I never saw or spoke to him at all. But my eyes did very well and I feel he did a great job.

Dr Liss performed my cataract surgery the end of November. I had blurriness that never resolved-like a big smudge over my eye like the cataract. So he suggested I needed the YAG laser surgery to clear everything up. Both times he stated that I was the ideal candidate for both the most expensive cataract surgery/vision correction and the YAG procedure. Well the YAG procedure failed as well. I say failed as I still have a blur or smudge in middle of that eye. Vision improved after initial surgery but if I still have the smudge certainly not an acceptable outcome for $6000! Saw Dr Liss again today. Was told all the tests looked great so that’s it. Said I have 2 choices: see a neuro specialist ( but if they found something wrong there wasn’t any fix) or to do nothing & maybe it will resolve over time. I asked him if he would be satisfied with those answers if it was his eyes? Very arrogant and not sure he realizes how important his client’s vision is to them. Not sure how he sleeps at night!
