I am speechless by how this medical practice under the name of Dr. Louis Morrison is run!!!

I typically just let little things slide, but in this case I was compelled to share my experience with prospective patients. I would NEVER recommend this place to any patient seeking medical care. I will lay out the facts, and let you be the judge.

- As a new patient, I had spoken with a lady by the name of Nina (could have been Tina) at the office on 3/16/23, and set an appointment to see the doctor on 4/3/23 at 2:00 pm. I was advised to show up a half hour early to fill out the pre-registration paperwork.

- I show up on 4/3 for my appointment at 1:30 pm as advised- the door is closed and the parking lot is empty. The sign on the door said that they close for lunch from noon to 1:30 pm.

- I called the front desk and nobody answers.

- 2:00 pm rolls around (my appointment time) and the door is still shut. I call the front desk a second time, and nobody answers, so I leave a message that I was there for my scheduled appointment.

- Now, it’s past my appointment time of 2:00 pm, so I call the after-hours line and a gentleman by the name of Tyler says that he will pass the message along to the doctor.

- I get no response from anybody, and the door is still closed. Eventually, I leave around 2:30 pm, an hour after I arrived at the location.

As appalled as I was by this apparent lack of professionalism and concern for the patient, I figured that there must be a plausible explanation. Maybe there was an emergency? But if that were the case, how about sending your patients an email, text or calling them. Even easier, slap a darned piece of paper on the door saying all appointments for the day are cancelled, or whatever the case may be.

I have yet to hear from the doctor’s office, or the doctor as to why nobody was there at the office, when I was scheduled to see him.

In a way I am thankful that this happened. I was really having second thoughts after reading all the negative reviews. I would never trust my health with a person such as this. I expect more professionalism from a pizza- joint, let alone a doctor’s practice who you entrust your health and life with!!!

As the old adage goes, “listen to your gut,” or more importantly in this case- “listen to the Google reviews.”

I had the same problem many others had and that's with the staff. Unprofessional, immature with bad breath and manners. They told me the sign on the door said closed until 1:30 which it didn't. It looked like a bunch of random numbers tossed up on there b6y a 3 y/o. Things got worse after that. I'm sure the Doc himself is a nice man keeping these hard to hire people employed but it's costing him business.

I was taking my mother to her doctors appt and realized the front desk lady was new. All I heard was the office manager yelling at the new hire. I also see that she no longer employed there. What type of office is this? The practice manager which is the spouse of Dr. Morrison is no better. The girl in the front desk was helpful and sweet. Let’s just say that I will never go back there again. Hopefully this advises new patients to go to a good practice. This place is horrible. Negative referrals from my family and Sharon the practice manager is a zero! Help yourselves and find a better doctor!

I just got off the phone with the office manager (NOT the receptionist) and Omgosh, she is so rude. Like, I’m still in awe and confused about our conversation. Like, I’m so confused. I was not disrespectful in any away with her. I wanted to get my first class medical exam and honestly, even though, he’s the cheapest, I’m legit going with someone else who is 70 dollars more because of her. Someone please tell the doctor to check his reviews. Are they related? Is that why he won’t fire her?

Similar to the many other reviews online about this practice; I too, have had a terrible experience with the front office. While, i am not a patient of this office (thank god!!!) My experience with scheduling a simple appointment over the phone was a nightmare. The staff by the name of Latoya, was extremely rude, disrespectful, and just nasty to me. This experience alone has made me not even want to come to the office to see the doctor if i have to deal with an ignorant person like this.

I use Dr. Morrison for first class medical for years now. I recommend. Also I see the other complaints about the front office staff, and I’ve had no problems, but I have seen first hand how an elderly man was flat out rude to the front desk lady then accused HER of being rude and basically throwing a fit just like I’m reading on this site. Makes me wonder if others aren’t to blame more than the staff too... again, I’ve had no problems at all. In and out, professional and straight forward every time.

I don't normally rate doctors, but since I am having a crazy hard time finding a decent primary care doctor, I am going to start in hopes of helping someone else out.

When you walk in the office here, they have a very unwelcome entrance. The reception desk has a window that remains closed unless they need to call people up. When you knock on said window, you get no answer until they decide they're ready for you.

When I saw the doctor, who I was there to see due to my tendinitis from my pregnancy, he did not examine me at all, just asked me a few questions about my pain and what I was doing for it, told me to keep doing what I was doing, and told me to come back if it wasn't better on its own in two weeks. I had been having the pain for 8 weeks at that point.

Of course, it didn't go away, just got worse over the next two weeks, so I went back. Again, he didn't examine it, just told me to get an X-ray and asked if I wanted a steroid injection. I said yes to the steroid, so the nurse came in to give it to me. She kept telling me she was afraid of hitting my bone with the needle, and when she finally put the needle in, she barely put it in far enough to inject the steroid.

When she started to press the plunger down, it formed a very painful bubble on the injection site. When I told her it hurt, she pulled the needle out a bit. Since the needle was already barely in, she pulled it out too far for the steroid to go in now and started plundering it on the top of my hand. Then, she gave up, and with most of the steroid still in the syringe, told me I was done.

Got my X-ray, the office called to tell me my results showed normal, and they offered no follow up for the tendinitis that I still have that is worsening in pain daily.

Complete waste of time and money. Now I need to start the entire process over with another doc because I will not be going back to this office.
