My husband has been a patient here for years. He went for an eye exam and to buy new glasses. His prescription had changed by 2 points. He ordered new lenses for his existing frames. It took 2 weeks. He went in to pick up the glasses and they were not bi-focals, which his prescription was for as well as all previous glasses. He called and told them the issue
The office manager called him back and said he has to buy totally new glasses even though this was an obvious mistake on their end. And he will not be able to receive any money back for the incorrect glasses which are useless to him. She also yelled and then hung up on him
This is how long term patients are treated so we will never go there again and obviously do not recommend

I very rarely write reviews but felt I needed to because of the awful experience I had with Eagle Vision in Carson City. I hope this review will save someone a lot of time and money and frustration. I went to Dr. K at Eagle Vision at the beginning of this year (2024) and had my eyes checked and received a new prescription from Dr. K. I had them put the new lenses/new prescription into my old frames. When I received the glasses back from the lab, I could not see clearly out of them. New measurements were taken, and they were sent back to the lab to try a different type of lens. The second pair I received were not better. Dr. K then changed the prescription without rechecking my eyes, and a third pair of lenses were made. They were worse than the first 2. The prescription from Dr. K was NOT correct. Dr. K refused to recheck my eyes. At that point the staff told me they could not make any more lenses for me. That was it. Dr. K's resolution was for me to come in and buy a pair of reading glasses... This whole ordeal took several months, and I ended up paying $278 for an eye exam that was not correct and a pair of glasses that I cannot wear, as they did not save my original lenses and would not make it right. Do NOT go here!
The doctor and staff at Costco in Carson City are amazing, and I got the right prescription and glasses the first time with no issues at all.

I used the services of Eagle Vision once, and unfortunately, it will be my first and last time. Initially, everything went smoothly, but seven months later, I received an unexpected bill. This was puzzling because my visit was for a routine annual exam, which is covered by my insurance.

Upon investigation, I discovered that Eagle Vision had claimed that the doctor was concerned about Retinal Detachment and had referred me to NV Retina Associates for further evaluation. This was not the case. During my visit, I was simply asked about any past issues, to which I mentioned that around 20 years ago, different doctors had concerns about my retina, but I have had no problems since then. I was not referred to NV Retina Associates.

To resolve this issue, I requested a copy of my Examination Record from Eagle Vision, which clearly states: “Retina: Bilateral. Retina is flat, attached, and normal” and “Retina – vascular: Bilateral: No drusen, exudate, hemorrhages, or evidence of retinopathy, healthy retinal vasculature. No retinal hemorrhages noted.” Despite this, they still claimed I was referred for further examination due to retinal detachment, which is not accurate.

I feel taken advantage of, and I believe such practices are unfair. Therefore, I will not be using their services again and cannot recommend them to others.

EDIT: I WAS NOT LATE FOR MY APPOINTMENT AT ALL!!! I arrived 15 minutes early and went to the front desk they told me to sit down and wait so I did. Maybe check the cameras. I even did my paperwork online so it would be smoother but apparently can't keep track of your own patients, blaming it on me when I was early is completely unprofessional. I still stand my point that the doctor did a terrible job, service is so horrible, including whoever is writing these responses.

First time coming here, never coming back.
I had my appointment at 4:10pm and they called me at around 4:30 so like 30 minutes before closing time. Staff was rude, not even a hello or anything. I don't know if it was because it was almost closing time that they were such in a hurry to leave that made them take my whole prescription wrong but the new glasses I got are NOT right AT ALL. I see better with my previous glasses than with my "new prescription".
Doctor was also in a hurry when she tested my eyes, she never asked me if I could see right with the final glasses she gave me and just left the office. I called to see if there was anyway to fix this and was told I had to pay around 60 dollars just to see the people working up front so they could check my glasses or I could pay another 200 dollars to get a new prescription for something the doctor did wrong. The girl that helped me over the phone was nice and patient and I know she doesn't have any control over what happened but I just feel so enraged that I have to pay AGAIN for something they DIDN'T DO RIGHT. Just go somewhere else instead of investing your money on a doctor that won't care about you.

I work with metal and got a sliver in my eye. I called Eagle Vision to have Dr. K look at it and I was told if I wasn't having double vision or floaters they wouldn't be able to see me. I have been a patient for a few years and was suprised at the lack of professionalism.

They had to cancel my appointment so they called me to reschedule, but when I didn't pick up, they decided to reschedule me without letting me know. It was particularly convenient when I arrived in person for my appointment and they informed me my appointment was cancelled. I was a little confused at first, but the counter person reassured me that there was a note on my account that said "couldn't get in contact after calling one time over a week ago, rescheduled for a month later". I was worried they might have apologized for the inconvenience, but thankfully they seemed completely unaffected. I was a little surprised when I realized that the time they randomly selected wasn't going to fit my schedule. I called later that day to request that they cancel my rescheduled appointment and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the appointment no longer existed. I did have to request that they never contact me again, but other than that, they really go above and beyond to make sure you'll never come back.

Only place I've ever gone to in this area. Went in for a check-up, new prescription, and new glasses & prescription sunglasses. I was in and out in 45 minutes. It helps that I did my homework and knew exactly what I was getting and what I could afford. Treat people with patience & and respect, and that's usually what you'll get in return.
