Dr. Ash, Cari and the team at Eye Care Management are an incredibly kindhearted, patient- oriented, diligent healthcare crew. In the many years my dad and I have received their care, they have been thoughtful and skilled in getting us the best fit for glasses and contacts. When my dad passed away, I brought his frames in and the team helped to get my prescription lenses into his frames as a token of remembrance. When I received my dad's glasses they had carefully included his original lenses separately, a gesture that I will treasure forever. What really makes this practice so special is their care for each individual and attention to detail that goes above and beyond eye care.

Wow! The service here was truly awesome. I feel that I was receiving the best care a customer could hope for. They really know their products when trying to pick frame shapes, lenses, and tints for your glasses and sunglasses. I think this is the happiest I’ve been with my choices in twenty years. Will come back again. Worth the drive in from our smaller town.

Everything was good until I coughed two times and sneezed two times. Then one lady, worker made me leave because it was making her “uncomfortable.”But yet she wasn’t with a mask herself, if she was so worried about it and she was about 20 feet away from me. I guess allergies don’t go around this time of year for some, and I guess we all can avoid “germs” at all costs….? ?‍♀️ Other then that experience today, it’s a pretty great place. The other workers have been amazing with my kids!

Called to see if I could come in the same day due to a eye infection. Eye care management took me the same day. Everything was easy from calling, paperwork/homework, going to the back and getting examined, and a diagnosis along with a prescription within the hour. Very professional and courteous. Strongly recommend Eye Care Management.

Please be aware! This place is unorganized and they have terrible billing practices. When tried to remedy, I was told that I was not listening and that this is my error as a patient.

I went there last fall for a standard eye exam. When I walked in they said, "you never called us back" only to find out that they had the wrong phone number and my name was misspelled. They could not find my billing information and I told them I was in network based on my UHC portal that showed they were in network. When they urged me to move forward with the exam, I explained I was nervous about billing. They responded with "we do it all of the time. We can medical bill." After the exam, they confirmed I did not have coverage and again said they would get it billed.

Eight months later, I get an email saying I will be going to collections if I don't pay my bill. I've received nothing but a bill that said "patient deductible" and I don't have a deductible. The didn't even process it correctly. I've asked for records of the notices they've sent me and have not received anything...still!

They claim they are great with service but this is terrible service. It is the classic balance bill situation. Please do your due diligence on this practice before they try to pull on over on you.

Really negative experience here. Had trouble finding the office and was 5 minutes late to my appointment. Wasn’t greeted initially and overheard the receptionist being super rude to someone on the phone. I was told my appointment was being pushed back for my tardiness and it was my fault for not knowing where the office was. Really disappointing experience, hopefully in the future they treat others with more kindness and consideration.
Also, after reading the owner's responses it's pretty obvious where the negative attitude comes from! Hope they realize these reviews are for customers, not for owners to defend poor business quality.

Called a few offices in Durango for an eye exam since I’m new to the area and this office is the only one that answered my calls. Besides that, going into my actual appointment they were all super friendly and sweet. The Dr is very mice and welcoming, plus it was a quick exam and didn’t wait long. The office itself is beautifully decorated/designed. Very cool place with chill atmosphere, and am planning on coming back again for my next needed eye exam.
