I love this shop. I never thought I’d say that about an eyeglasses store, but I’ve had such great experiences with them that I felt compelled to write a review. They not only have the best, most interesting frame selection in the area but also are experts when it comes to helping you pick the perfect pair of glasses for your face. I’ve purchased three pairs of frames from this shop (two pairs of glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses) and contacts, and I’ve been so pleased every time. I’m currently rocking a pair I picked up earlier today and had to make myself leave before I accidentally walked out with another pair of sunglasses (but I’ll be back soon!).

I was originally drawn to this shop because I saw their name listed on some bigger name brands’ sites. All three times I went to pick out a new pair, though, they steered me toward smaller, even cooler brands I've never even heard of. Yes, you can find great glasses at a number of shops in the neighborhood, but I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a better, more knowledgable team that’s happy to help you narrow your decision until you find the right fit. They're like eyewear artists, and I love knowing that I'm supporting both a local business and a small glasses brand that you probably can't find anywhere else.

Aside from the great selection of eyeglasses, I love that I can come in same day or next day for an appointment with the optometrist or stop by to have my glasses adjusted. A few weeks ago, I scratched a lens, and they replaced it so speedily. I also love that they seem to know all their customers by name — it really drives home their local neighborhood feel.

The eyeshoppe on 7th in park slope is the best store to get your regular and sunglasses. I’ve been to many stores in FL, NJ and NYC but I believe this is the best spot to go for eye glasses. Not only do they have great selection but they have great prices and they are very helpful at finding your look. They also stand behind all their product god forbid anything happens, they have close relationships with the manufacturers to help get things fixed in a timely manner. Ask for allesandro and you will find he is very helpful!

The wonderful family business gave me the best eyeglass selection and fitting experience in a lifetime of such experiences. Such an incredible selection of frames at every price point and Alessandro nailed the selection of two pairs within ten minutes. Both pairs were gorgeous, classy, and great look for my husband. Expert measuring for fit and focus. The lab is inhouse, so glasses were ready in two days. Highly, highly recommended.

I lost my glasses and needed to find a new pair quickly. I happened to walk by Eye Shoppe on Seventh and it made for the best and most friendly eye care and glasses shopping experience I've ever had. Family owned business, friendly, knowledgeable- such a fun sense of humor all around. They set me up with an eye exam with Dr. Wendy- who is so professional and fun. I went in and came out with all my needs met! Love this place!

After being a loyal customer of Eye Shoppe on 7th for 14yrs, I will no longer be doing business with them.

I called and scheduled an eye exam to support the purchase of a specialty pair of sport glasses that could only be purchased online.

After completing the exam, the owner refused to provide a key piece of information as part of an eye exam, knowing for well that withholding the information would make the purchase of the glasses impossible.

Despite knowing the purpose of my visit in advance, the owner said it was against his policy to provide information that helped out an online purchase.

This is the worst customer service experiences I have had in a long time. Please do not do business with this business.

A very EYE opening experience!
Never would I have thought a pair of lenses would cost over $700
I had Giorgio Armani frames with high index lenses done with less than half the cost, Unfortunately I will not be referring anyone anytime soon.

I have been buying glasses here for over thirty years. I have only good things to say. My glasses always fit well, I can see well and they are stylish. I just ordered new frames after damaging the frames I had worn for many years. Michael knew just what would look good on me and would fit my special medical need of having a very lightweight frame.
