Overall I have a great experience every time I need a new prescription, glasses, and contacts! They have a few choices for those of us who are covered by insurance (and intentions are to fully get covered). I always find something nice to fit the frame of my face. On the other hand they have a big variety if you're willing to spend out of your pocket for some really neat glasses. I do recommend this place, and it is a plus that everyone including the optician is super nice.

The customer service at this location is horrible! They were combative and dismissive when asked simple questions. Every time I've come to this location there are different people working there. The staff turn over rate is high which should tell you something.

I ended up not ordering glasses from them because I was so disgusted with the customer service. I've been working in the Customer Service industry for over 23 years so I know what good customer service is.

The sad part is is that the Dr. at this location is great but you would never know it because of what happens when you walk in.
I would not recommend this place. Go somewhere where they will treat you with respect.

I had Eye & Optics change the lenses in seven of my prescription glasses. This morning I went to the store because my Burberry frames was missing the screw so the arm was off. The young man asked "Did I purchase them from there?", I advised I did not, before I could say anything else he flippantly said "I can't fix this go across the street"- he sent me to Cohen's.
Cohen's fixed it and did not charge me a dime! Needless to day I will not be returning, I did not purchase the frames at Eye & Optic but I did patron your establishment... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ADA was nice, this dude is horrible

Had a terrible experience getting my contacts here. Long story short, they messed up my prescription three times AND COUNTING. Here's the long story...

I went in for an eye exam since I had not gotten one in years and needed new glasses and contacts. I came to this location because it's one I went to when I was a teenager and wanted to support a local business.

The first time I came in, the appointment went pretty normal. Originally my contact prescription was Acuvue -2 in both eyes. After the eye exam, the doctor told me only my right eye had changed, so I was still Acuvue -2 in the left eye and now -2.5 in the right eye.

After a few days of wearing the contacts I noticed that the left eye was pretty blurry compared to the right, so I requested to come in for a check up. The doctor then gave me a slightly stronger prescription for my left eye so the image quality matched in both eyes. She also noticed that my eyes were red. I tried on a few different brands in different eye sizes and decided to go with Avaia since that felt most comfortable.

The doctor recommended that I come in again in about a week so she could check in on how the contacts were feeling. I was told my glasses would also be ready in a week, so I scheduled my second follow up appointment so I could get the contacts approved and also pick up my glasses the same day. The third time I came in I was able to get the contacts signed off on. Unfortunately, the glasses had not come it by my appointment, which was a bit frustrating but I was at least relieved that I would be able to see clearly in about a week, when I would be able to pick up my contacts and glasses.

For the forth visit to pick up my glasses and contacts I had my mom pick them up because I had already taken so may hours off of work for this as is. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up the goods from my mother's house, I was frustrated to see that the Acuvue brand, which had been the wrong size for my eyes, was ordered.

I called the eye doctor's office the morning after and I was told to bring back the Acuvue contacts and then they could order the correct pair. I explained that I could not afford to take more time off of work to return and then again to pick up, so they said they would order and I could pick up and return the contacts the same day as a 'courtesy.'

Rattled but not defeated, the fifth trip was made to return the incorrect Acuvue contacts and pick up the correct Avaira pair. Unfortunately, this too was a high hope. When I came to pick up, the employee realized that the -2.5 prescription was ordered for both eyes. Needless to say I was upset. I expressed my frustration and requested that the doctor waive the delivery fee for whenever they got the new order in so I did not have to come in YET AGAIN.

Today, I received the delivery of what should have been the right prescription; however, unsurprisingly the prescription is still off. I have called three times today, and they keep saying that it’s busy and they’ll have to call me back.

It has been a month and a half since I had my eye exam and God only knows if I will ever get my contacts. Maybe seeing just is not for me.

While seemingly friendly, the staff just can't seem to get it right. Save your time and money and go to Lenscrafters.
