I want to prefice this by saying the service wasn't horrible. If you need an eye exam book early in the morning so its less busy. The staff was nice but the whole process was not quick by any means, my new glasses are well fitted and accurately prescribed. They do not take some basic forms of insurance which i didn't know until i got there( ask about yiur coverage over the phone ahead of time). So a comprehensive/easily accessible list of the providers they take would be a timesaver. I would rate higher but it did take a little long for my glasses to come back. Give them time to do right by you, its well worth it. Since i dislike the Star rating, i give them a solid 7/10.
Pro's: They're local, the end product is stellar, prices aren't bad even without insurance, Staff was pleasant
Con's: it can be cramped when they're busy(obviously), it takes a while to be seen and for glasses or contacts to come back, personally i think location could be better.

i did my best to give an unbiased comprehensive review, but as the main man Keith Lee would say "I encourage you to try it and make your own opinion"

Seriously, 3 hours for a routine eye exam. The Doctor barely tells you anything regarding your vision and how it's changed. Never once took my current glasses to see what the prescription was. Definitely won't be coming back.

Update: Finally got the doctor to check my current prescription. He prescribed new glasses that were less than my current ones. I did not go to the doctor because I was having issues. I went for a checkup on my eye health. Be careful, my entire family has now been and they seem to be all about just selling glasses/contacts.

I will update if I ever get my glasses. Was told it would take 2 weeks which I thought was very long, on line family members have them within a week. It has been 3 weeks was told they would definitely be there by Friday. The sign says they close at 5:00 I was there 3:00 Friday door locked no one there, obviously no glasses. Not sure how they stay in business. I will definitely never return again. Hopefully 1 more time if they ever come in. Wonder if they are having them made in China? Disgusted.

Treated me in a very unprofessional way.
Very disorganized - they lost my personal glasses that I wore in and then insisted that she had returned them to me. In order to get her to look again, I ended up emptying my purse out so she could make sure I didn't have them. After that, guess what happened? She looked again in the back and There They Were.
Imagine That!!
Wouldn't walk through those doors again ever.
Definitely won't recommend them.

Was told my husbands frames were $30. We was to put half down which was $15 PLUS $10 COPAY plus tax which came to $26 with tax. Now to pick them up were told we owe $31. No matter how many times u explain the math to this lady shes oblivious. She messed up pretty much on the price of the frame and charged the wrong price. It dont take a rocket scientist to figure out the math. I went home and his paper work showed $15 as the remainder balance. Then my sons appointment was cancelled by them. Rescheduled for next wed. Even tho mines way out cause they had no appointments til feb 3rd. Hmmm All appointments were cancelled. They no longer have our business.

Staff and Dr were friendly but the visit was 3hrs and 20 minutes just for contacts and cost me over double what I usually pay at the Eye Dr in Hartwell.
