Today was my first adult eye exam, and I was a bit nervous. However, from the moment I arrived, the experience was smooth and reassuring. The front desk staff, the technician, and the doctor were all friendly, informative, and made sure I had everything I needed. The appointment was both quick and thorough, and all of my questions were answered. Overall, I left feeling confident and well taken care of.

Dr. Chun and staff are very pleasant to work with. They provided great care and answered all the questions I had regarding my vision. Elaina was very helpful in choosing the right frames for my prescription. Highly recommend this office for your vision needs.

This is probably the best eye clinic I have gone to! Dr. Chun was so friendly and knowledgeable! He taught me so many things about my eyes that I had no idea about, despite having had glasses/contacts for most of my life. Every staff member I interacted with was so genuinely kind and walked me through everything they did, what everything would cost, etc. I can't recommend them enough!!

When checked in was only asked my last name - no ID or insurance needed (and never shown). The exam part was great and the Doctor was very thorough and I was very happy with this part of the appointment. The issue came with the employee that was assigned to help get glasses picked out. It was an immediate switch from an appointment to a sales pitch. She was extremely rude and did not like me questioning why my insurance benefit not covering the glasses. Note: before the appointment I confirmed they take my insurance. Everytime I asked her a question she responded with her “script” again. I explained that I understand what she is saying but she is not answering my questions. Finally figured out that they make “special” lenses that are not covered by insurance - but they still run it through insurance to use the frame benefit and out of coverage benefits. This is shady!! I finally said let’s just look for frames and we can figure out the insurance later. She was not pleased and did not give me time to look around. She totally skipped a whole side of the store and when I asked about those she said those are men’s frame - didn’t know frames have a gender. I was over her attitude and disrespectful attitude that I asked for my prescription and I would come back at a later time. She then started talking about payment for the appointment and when I asked if I was going to get my prescription first she said she had to go to another room to get it. I paid for my appointment and she came back with my prescription. I was reviewing the papers to make sure I had everything and she was like do you still need anything. I told her I was reviewing it and she said I had to leave. There was no other customers in the office. And I asked if she was kicking me out and she said yes. I will never refer anyone to this practice due to her which sucks because the doctor is really good

N. Central local here, I've used many eye exam services and nothing has compared to Gainesville Vision with Dr Marc Robinson extremely thorough and his expertise had my prescription the best I've literally had in a great amount of time. A+++ Thank You

Absolutely fabulous care from Dr. Robinson and now Dr. Chun. I needed (in my opinion) an emergency appointment, the staff got back to me quickly and had me in for a same day appointment. Everyone was courteous, professional, and the doctor was wonderful about education and explanation. I'm so appreciative.
