Never thought of visiting a cataract and laser vision center for a routine eye exam, but Galanis was on the list my insurance covered, and I was leary of visiting the chain eye centers that made up most of the rest of the list. Given the amount of doctors at Galanis I was able to get a next day appointment, and the receptionist even pre-approved my insurance coverage over the Source.

The office is very nice, with a convenient location in the Dierbergs McKenzie Point shopping center, and everyone is super nice.

Dr. Sorce was professional but friendly and easy to talk with, and he didn't rush my exam. Instead, he took time to thoroughly explain what was going on with my eyes and vision changes. It was the best doctor visit I've had in a long time.

I highly recommend Galanis, especially Dr. Sorce.

I had a surgery scheduled and they made us wait 2 hours . They are constantly late seeing me on my appointments they tell me to arrive 15 mins early for my appointment but then make me wait to be seen for hours it is unacceptable and I will be changing my eye doctor to BjC location. They want you to respect their time but constantly disrespecting their patients time!

I had my first catarac surgery Sept. 19, 2024.
I had a very pleasant experience.
No long wait time for surgery. Just tons of eye drops! Surgery was a brease.
I had no problems after. Listen to all they tell you. Ask lots of questions. I shower mostly because of my long hair. I wear goggles in shower and or headband. Water stays put of my eyes! I have no pain.can see good without glasses. Just need close up glasses. But I still have left eye surgery. Hope it goes as smooth! Good luck to everyone!

Galanis eyecare has great physicians but most of their patients are seniors and the wait time; consistently is above and beyond what it should be. Criteria is they ask patients to arrive 15 minutes early; no problem. The problem is that Galanis Clinic doesn’t appreciate or respect their patients time as much as they want patients to respect their time. This is annoying and rude!

I rarely post reviews but if anyone is seeking quality eye care then I highly recommend Galanis Cataract and Laser Center. I've been going to this office for several years despite the distance to the office from my home and I've found it to be a welcoming and organized office that is dedicated to taking care of my "aging" eyes. I see Dr. Galanis and he is truly an eye care professional who is willing to take the time to address any questions I might have about my eyes. I've had no complaints or bad experiences at all.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful! Wait time to see the doctor is minimal. I have been seeing Dr. Sorce for many years now, he is always very efficient, thorough and knowledgeable. He explains things to the patient so they can understand what the test results mean.. I would 100% recommend Galanis for any of your eye care needs!!
