Let me preface this by saying that the Dallas location is the BEST! I have been going to this location for 20+ years and never had an issue. Melanie M. in the optical department is top notch! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. The problem I have is with Georgia Eye Partners for making a decision to only do contacts and not glasses...They have lost a major insurance company (VSP) for this reason. Let alone all the customers they have lost because of this. I wish bigger corporations would leave well enough alone when they decide to take over smaller businesses! It's heartbreaking when you develop such a good relationship with Dr.'s that you know and trust, only to be told that they no longer accept your insurance.

My care is never an issue here. Staff very friendly and appreciate my physician with his care and explanations. My biggest complaint is the major overbooking that takes place. My appointment was for 10:15 am with them wanting me 15 mins early for prep. I was not called back till almost 1 1/2 hours later due to running behind schedule. I used to work for a family practice and understand emergencies arise but that was not the case. And this isn't the first time this has happened. And then I find out they will no longer be ordering, fitting and providing all in one place service for my glasses. A Rx is given and you are going to have to go to another provider to get your glasses. These are my comments today.

The experience of having any type of surgery to your eyes can be stressful and leave you unsure of what you’re dealing with. The Doctors and Staff were very courteous and professional explained the process completely eliminated any stress and secured my understanding of what’s required to get back to my normal routine. First, let me start with a negative (though not about the Dallas office) before moving on to the positive. Calling to leave a message for the doctor regarding a prescription is very frustrating. I called two separate days, a week apart, and no return phone call. You have to call in to a call center and they type the message for the doctor. You can't call directly to the office. Luckily, I work 5 minutes away and drove to the location. The staff was very helpful and genuinely concerned about not getting the messages. However, all was taking care of by them and everything is ok now thanks to the Dallas staff. They are deserving of the 5 star review. Georgia Eye Partners call center 1 star if not a minus!
The staff and doctors there are awesome. They are deserving of the 5 star review. I have been a patient of theirs for many, many years. Just found out today Georgia Eye Partners is closing Dallas' optical department. Melanie, the Optician, has been there well over 20 years and is the best! It is very convenient for us, patients, to have their eyes examined and then take a few steps to her office to have your glasses or contact lenses fitted. No where else would I or could I trust anyone else than having Melanie take care of us as though we are her family.
Georgia Eye Partners you are doing an injustice to your patients! That is not taking care of your patients. You are putting money ahead of your patients' care! Isn't that what Scrooge did? Again another 1 star if not minus to Georgia Eye Partners.

I’ve been a patient at this office for years and always feel very satisfied with the care here and the friendly people however I was very disappointed to hear that the optical department will be closing! Those ladies do a wonderful job and now I will have to go else where for glasses! This definitely doesn’t make good sense! So for that I give it 4 stars instead of 5 !

Very good. Love the friendly staff at the Dallas location. My Dr. is The best always looking out for me and trying his best to keep up with all of my eye issues and maintain my eye health. Without these people guiding my eye health i’m sure i would be lost. I more than trust them to guide me through any eye related issues that may come up.

I’m very happy with Cobb Eye Center! I feel I’m cared for when having an exam.

Only concern I have is the optical department closing. It is very convenient after having an eye appointment with a new prescription going straight to the optical center and get glasses and contacts. I’ve been doing this for years and I hate to see it leave and I have to start over to find another place to go.. Could you take this into consideration to continue to leave the optical department open? I understand it may just be for contacts and no more glasses but your patients need glasses as well. Thank you!

I have to tell you that the staff, total staff are so pleasant to be around, very efficient and professional. Our new Doctor that we met, Doctor Neegard,made both my husband and myself feel very comfortable, to trust him with one of our most valuable possessions, our eyes.
