The actual store layout is fantastic. It’s a never updated 70’s space and I was so excited when I first stepped in. Unfortunately, the items available were akin to the leftovers at a junk/rummage sale. It seems like they prioritize the wrong things - there were hundreds of books but almost no CDs, DVDs or Cassettes. We did find a couple nice brand shirts and jackets, but they wanted $15+ for them, so we passed. They also shoot themselves in the foot with their donation space because so much product gets left in the rain for the four days a week that they’re closed. They’re losing money that way.

I know they’re usually great about going to senior houses and picking up furniture they can’t transport. So points for that.

If they need volunteers or employees to come help the shop, put out ads for it! I would love to help organize and market the store. I’d hate to lose this place - it has so much potential. But unless it changes, we won’t bother to be back.

This is a very lovely place that helps many people! The staff are very passionate and extremely helpful ^_^. Going here is always a pleasure because I find nice treasures I never would've found anywhere else. If you like thrift stores and Goodwill then you should definitely browse here sometimes.

If you're going to Good Samaritan make sure you go to the one closest to the M&T Bank.
pretty much like a gem in the rough it's a very nice. Very reasonably priced staff is very friendly and all volunteers. Everything is washed before you buy it. The Good Samaritan is owned by Johnny janosik. They also provide referral assistance to those in need. Food pantry, clothing etc...

Donating the contents of an entire home. Contacted several organizations in the area, and they seemed less than motivated to come and pick the donations up. I contacted Good Samaritan Thrift, and they were very helpful, as well as appreciative. Glad our donations are going to a great cause!

This is one of my favorite thrift stores. If you catch them on certain days they run great specials. The staff and volunteers keep it clean and organized. They recently renovated and now have a " beautique" section off to the one side. I follow them on Facebook to keep up on the deals.

Went for the first time. This place is clean, staff is very friendly. Prices are great value & presentation is eye catching. I will go there again!

I don't like how they use a permanent marker to mark dishes and pans. It has a mildew smell inside. But overall not horrible.
