I will never go back here ever again. If you are looking to see a dr in office don't come here. They never told me that they didnt have a dr in office anymore. I had to go into a room to find that out.When I went into the room it was a computer you had to speak to. I do not like seeing Dr's that way. I never left with a referral like I was supposed to have. I left with how much the glasses cost thats it. I'm just over this place. Someone was supposed to get back to me about a testing I needed they called me about glasses then said i said they all was ugly. I never said that. I said the ones that are for medicare are ugly. The ones you pay for are not .It used to be nice when they had a dr in office. I will never refer a person to this place ever again. I try not to give bad reviews but this place went from a 5 star to a 1. They won't ever have to worry about me. If I could give this place a negative 1 I would.

My Appointment was October 8th 2024 it’s March 2025 & I still haven’t got my glasses. They all keep giving me a run around about what the problem is. Every time I speak to someone it’s something different. At one point a lady was very disrespectful & told me it wasn’t her problem. I wouldn’t recommend this place to NO one. Very unprofessional.

After 3 weeks of me not getting my glasses, I called and they said, " oh yes your glasses are here". So no call. Then I specifically said progressive lenses, and they made me bi focals. And what makes it so bad, I can't even see out of these glasses. So I came and I was instructed to come back and bring the glasses only to be told to make a different appointment to get retested. You could have told me that on the phone. Then when I told them about the bi-focals, they told me that the state insurance won't pay for the progressive lenses. Well when I told you progressive you could have mentioned that and I would have gladly paid the difference. This just didn't work for me at all. I'll just go somewhere else and pay for what I need.

Made a appointment for eye exam, been going for the past 3 yrs, got there did the preliminary test and then they informed me that the doctor has left and is no longer there everything would be done by remote talking virtual to a doctor bull shit got my money and left and now they want to charge me 50 dollars for my recorders.

I had to drop off a prescription for safety glasses for work and they told me I had to wait or come back later, which was understandable, however the reason I had to wait is because they didn’t have time to get the box of safety glasses to choose from and they were busy with “patients”as if I wasn’t a patient/ customer when I entered their establishment. Terrible customer service and I’d never recommend this place.

Just had an appt for my son and myself. First, I'm grateful for the later hours, made it easy to come right after work without having to take time off. I thought the staff was fantastic! They were all very friendly and helpful and not just with us but the other customers who were there at the time. The doctor herself was very professional. I would recommend to others and I'll go back.

I have been putting up with this eye doctor just because they are close to home and take my insurance. They are money hungry and do not care about their patients. The doctor is not personable at all. They also allowed my son who is small to pick adult frames and allowed his Dad to assume they would come sized for him. They sized the arms to fit him but the glasses are so big he looks ridiculous and then told me thats what we picked so I would have to pay for new ones. They are petty for not even mentioning that those were for adults they were on the rack he was told to choose from they should have had kids and adults separate. I will be finding a new eye doctor. I urge others to look elsewhere as well.

I had a wonderful experience at Granite City Vision. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and Dr. Barber was very professional in her exam and report of findings. She explained the options I had going forward and let me make the decision I was comfortable with. The office staff made the whole appointment a seamless, easy experience. I would recommend this fine company to anyone!
