We bought a lot of shrubs and smaller plants here in July. The place is great and the people are super nice. We had a landscape project in the yard and the guys put in all the shrubs and plants. After a couple of months almost all plants died. All had a weird fungus. The landscape company replaced about 6 of the plants and got them here again. And again 4 of 6 are dead again. Same fungus. Since there is no warranty on the plants, we prefer other nurseries now, there are a lot which warranty their plants.

Green Trade has been such a great supplier of landscape plants and materials. They have knowledgeable staff and a new location with the ability to source any plants I need for my landscape business. We needed to buy 30 trees and 20 other plants, so we wanted to try and support a small business over big name business (Roughly an $1,800 order). We called Green Trade earlier in the week to check prices to compare to Home Depot. Everything sounded wonderful when they said they had a 7 gallon container for the same price as Home Depot’s 6 gallon. We got there and they were indeed not 7 gallon, but 6 gallon and around 2 feet shorter than ones at Home Depot. Looking at prices of bigger ones we asked if they did a military discount to justify paying way more for the same height tree. They do do a military discount, but not without a snotty attitude from the employee telling us we need to prove it. No problem, we can do that without hesitation (but please refrain from the attitude.) We purchased the other plants for my father (since we were already there), but we will never be back. Two stars are given for the two other employees who were very kind!

I would recommend Green Trade Nursery to any person or company where they feel they need great service and support for plants they bought. I had a plant which was not correct when blooms appeared and they came out and replaced with no problems. A company which has the values we all wished still existed everywhere.

Green Trade has been one of our go to places for places to buy plants, shrubs and trees. We've patronized this business a long time and referred them to others (yes, even with your parking situation). We know you are moving to another location, but that was suppose to happen last year! Today along with the last few times we have driven up to purchase plants no one even spoke to us much less offered to help us with anything. Instead all of them just stared at us and made snarky remarks (if you are going to do this, you might not do it where the customer can hear you). By the way we were the only customers there and if you don't want retail business, then just put it out there and only do landscape/installs, but don't be rude when customers are trying to support you. I'm very disappointed with this display of behavior. Moving forward I'll continue to shop with Twin Branches, Buck Jones Nursery and Kinsley Family Farms where our business is appreciated.

I bought what I was told a Autumn blaze maple tree and it was going to be a beautiful fiery red color in the fall. but unfortunately it turned out to be just an old ugly regular maple tree that I could have dug up out of the woods and save $200.. and even though the tags is still on the tree and I have the receipt they refuse to replace the tree. They just laughed and said sometimes it just happens that way. I personally will never buy anything else from them because I feel like I was not told the truth!! So buyers beware just because the ticket says and the salesman tells you the same thing it's not always the truth!!!!

Normally have a great time with these guys but today several of them were absolutely rude to myself and my client. That's not acceptable for any business. With that said, they do have the best variety of any nursery in the area and the lady's at the front desk were nice. Mixed emotions after today...

I am new to Cherokee Co. and this is my first encounter gardening with deer. Staff was fantastic! Shrubs were all in great shape. Easy to find and easy to pick out really wonderful, healthy plants.
